I'm in the process of moving from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010sp1 and when I run the Pre-Deployment Analyzer it is warning about "SMTP is configured to route all messages to a smart host". I intend to leave 2003 running while I move the mailboxes over to the 2010 box. Is the above error anything to worry about?

So I've downloaded Exchange 2010 SP1 from Microsoft as an .iso (4.77GB) but Roxio and Win7 disk image burner and InfraRecorder say the image is too large to fit on a dvd. The dvd's I'm using are Memorex +R and never had any trouble before today.

Update: Problem turned out to be the netsweeper filter. EMBC amended the policy and now it works.

For weeks now I've been getting 403 errors whenever I go to the Microsoft Service Centre and click sign in https://www.microsoft.com/licensing/servicecenter/. Is there a different URL I should be using?

Update: Today the engineer called to fix the flickering projector but of course I was at lunch at the time. The office manager took him to the classroom but as sods law states the projector wasn't flickering then so he departed without doing anything. Funny thing is, last week when I reported the fault, three people complained about the flickering!

Don't need to. The projector flickers on its own without a pc being connected.

Yes it resolves it just fine. The problem is it is asking for a username and password when it shouldn't.

Is there a way to get 2008r2 to open a folder on a Buffalo Linkstation by just opening \\nas\folder? Server 2003 and XP don’t have problems it just seems to be the server 2008r2 box

It's running with a splitter and using 1024x768 but I've just been to the classroom and removed the splitter and it's just the same. In fact when I was removing the splitter the projectors 'can't find signal' message was flickering anyway so must be the projector. The unit is under warranty so I'll keep you informed.

We've got a few of the Hitachi ED-X40 Projectors in this school and I've noticed that some have started to flicker. Has anyone come across this before?

So how much noise do these projectors make compared to a standard projector?

The school needs to collect parent's email and mobile numbers for the Parents 2 Teacher service. Apart from parents writing it down on paper and handing it in is there an online service that I could use? I suppose I could write a simple webpage that would achieve this but an online service would be easier.

It's NTFS.

Robocopy took 17 minutes but it worked.

The drive is using NTFS and smaller files copy ok. I've tested it with 1GB files and they copy but the server freezes but comes back to life before any errors. The event log gives these errors at the time I copied the 2GB file.
