ICT Technician and Deputy Network Manager Pay Point 30 -33 - Actual Salary - £29,827 - £32,430pa (maybe negotiable for the right candidate) 52 weeks per year - 36 Hours per week - 30 days annual holiday Required as soon as possible an experienced IT and Network Technician to play a key role in the managing, support and continuing expansion of the Academy’s network. The Academy has an extensive networking of both physical and virtual servers, over 600 desktop PC’s, iPads, Ereaders, projectors, interactive whiteboards, printers and copiers. The Academy uses the following OS platforms: Windows Server (Server 2008R2 and 2012 , VMWare), Client PC's (Windows 7 Pro and Windows 10 and Google Suite). To assist the exams officer during the exam period. The ideal candidate will be flexible to changing priorities and have advanced Excel and computer skills. Previous experience of working with SIMS and Scholar pack is desirable but not essential as training will be given on school specific computer packages.     ToDo List

    Lots of imaging, printer installs relocation of offices and telephone extensions. Rejigging of our switch and comms rooms, Server updates, new av and spyware software etc. Co-ordinate expanding network suites and additions to the infrastructure. I gave a a 10 page list of todo's to our head of "strategic of ict" and he just aggreed to the work. My point was to show him just how much we had to do in the summer hols and allow time for technicans holidays.
