It will be because it's a newly registered site (Newly Seen Domains). This is normal for the PDNS service for new sites.

Google Workspace for Education Fundamentals (Free)
willtech replied to JazzFlute's topic in ChromeOS & Cloud Based OS
No, still no update still getting the same old theirs a backlog in the new process. We are now at over 4 months now surly it does not take this long to approve a school. Anyone got any contacts in Google ? Support and the so call "approvals team" have been useless. -

EastEnglandTeaching.org
willtech replied to soapyfish's topic in Internet Related/Filtering/Firewall
I suspect PDNS are blocking as it is a newly seen domain: eastenglandteaching.org | URL Scanner | Cloudflare Radar This is common with the PDNS service. Support will need t be contacted to release it. -
There is an issue with outbound email notifications: Spiceworks Status But one of our schools has managed to login to log a ticket.

Google Workspace for Education Fundamentals (Free)

You can use the login hint to pass the email address across to Office 365. To do this, go to Google in the SSO with third-party IDPs select your SSO profile, then in SP details you will see Autofill email select this and use the option login_hint and save. Note the setting will not show on legacy SSO profiles. -

Good luck with their support at the moment, still waiting 3 months them to upgrade our Google Workspace to Education. If you cannot access the previously registered if their is not much data you can fill in the form to start a new tenant. Think you can but you will hit Google login first and then Entra ID after. But SSO must be setup on Configure Google Cloud / G Suite Connector by Microsoft for Single sign-on with Microsoft Entra ID - Microsoft Entra ID | Microsoft Learn. But any setting you want to set or lockdown you would be able to. The £20 is worth it for manageability. -

Did not remember seeing it but just looked and can see "All schools and colleges should be working towards meeting 6 core standards by 2030" https://www.gov.uk/guidance/meeting-digital-and-technology-standards-in-schools-and-colleges#:~:text=All schools and colleges should be working towards meeting 6 core standards by 2030%3A Only just sorted out Windows 11 on a limited budget. -

Quick Assist is useful until you need the escalate your permission to accept the UAC screens.

TimeTabler with SIMS Connected - How do you use it?
willtech replied to BrennanNCS's topic in MIS Systems
We have One TPC for data imports systems on a server, we use 2 devices as they have an application that interacts with the command reporter utility. If it is just a file that get exported fromTimeTabler and just gets imported via Nova T you would just need to import the file via connected. -
TimeTabler with SIMS Connected - How do you use it?
willtech replied to BrennanNCS's topic in MIS Systems
Any application that has to interface with the SIMS.net client directly would have to have the third-party connector install. We had to for a few third-party products, as the RDS (SIMS Connected) is only for ESSs applications and A2C. -
Were the schools using an A1 Plus licence, if so MS is pulling them at the moment and they will move to an A1 licence which does not include Desktop M365 Office. You need to move to A3 or get the Office 365 Apps via Volume Licensing
