Just wondering - if you did go with Plus Net for Internet / Phone , who could you go with for TV or would it be a case of free view / free sat etc ? Or are there other options that I am missing ?

At the end of the day - both consoles are hardware and hardware will always fail at some point ( whether straight away, within a few months or within a number of years ) so I don't really care if one fails more than the other or visa versa etc, as long as I have cover so I can get it repaired / sorted out ie get a replacement one etc then I ain't too fussed Also some people I know prefer a gaming PC Rig to a console as they prefer to use a keyboard and mouse instead of a controller like the xbox or PS 3 / 4 or whatever console

Am sure I read an article somewhere that basically said that the MTBF comparing normal hard drives to flash / SSD 's was the same or similar

I would have thought the latter as the flash / ssd is more a cache or buffer to read and write data quicker to the normal drive and is used for data that is accessed more frequently Maybe a question for the manufacturer

Too be fair it was a v series of ssd so prolly not a great choice of ssd and if it's a samsung 840 pro or similar you get 5 years warranty so as long as you store data on traditional drives you should be ok

I was thinking that about either apples fusion drive or a seagate momentus xt ??

Not got BT Infinity in our area but after the experience I had with virgin media I will never EVER go back to VM !! I would much rather stick with ADSL2+ on Sky until BT Infinity is available than go with VM and constantly get throttled and over charged

One of the interviews a number of years back now had a mix of both a written test with about 10 to 15 questions or so and also a practical test and then an interview with the network manager , Head Of ICT and I think it was the principle or something like that asking questions such as what makes you think you would be good at this job and also why do you want this job etc
