Just caught up with The Sixth Commandment on iPlayer. Timothy Spall is excellent as always, as is Ann Reid. Has some disturbing scenes, made more so by the fact of it being a true story.

I remember a few years ago at one of the schools I worked, the pupils in one class were told that as they'd been good during registration, they could have 15 minutes on their phones. Cue all the kids heading to sit be the window where they could get a 4G signal and the teacher just letting them get on with it. 🙄

I thought signal blockers were illegal.

I worked with CC right from CC2 and its basic job of relieving a busy head of IT of the everyday activities, well, it was good at its job. As school networks became more advanced, so did CC but unfortunately, as someone alluded to, you only learnt RM, so as the school became more tied in with RM, techs and NMs were missing out on the rapid advancements in the MS vanilla (real) world leaving many schools with a vanilla network looked after by staff who had become CC slaves.
