Yep, definately sounds like a printer driver problem. Yes Ric_ is spot on we used one of these utilities to good use only last week.

not sure f this is of any help now but copy the below into a batch file( you many need to edit for your own subjects.) and then drop the batch file in the shared folder with all your users in. then run it. I leave mine in the root of the year folder so i can get at it quick but i change permissions and hide it. Also you can run it 3 months later and it does not affect any of the current folders. it just reports they already exist. Absolutely spot on, I ain't got time to check all the mp3's i find. I could employ a part time tech to do that and that certainly ain't gonna happen. If i did search through just one year group i would guarantee that over 98% of the mp3's would be illegal. I know what i'd like to do to cover my back and thats doa complete blamnket delete but i need documantation to present to SLT before i can get approval.

CAn get on it here, but i get the feeling not for long once the LEA filters pick up on it.

I could still do with something in black and white that i could tell our SLT to look at. I don't want to be a kill joy for some impressive presentations i have seen yr 11 put together but if ever we were found to have illegal mp3's on our network then I know who would be in the firing line first...........!

Hotfix here We have this week changed one of our GPO to use redirection on application data and desktop. We have always redirected the folder My Documents and have never had a bit of trouble. But since this week we have done the other two folders mentioned above. Now all previous users in this OU that the GPO is on do not have any trouble but if i now create a new user they do not get the IE settings as described in the KB article. If i take the user out of the OU and put it in another to log on the first time and create his profile all is ok if then move the user to the OU with the GPO in question it works fine but to create the user in the OU it has the IE problem. First i thought it was a security permission problem but i checked them all time and tiem again and all were correct and the saem as other older users permissions. Has anyone come across this or had this before?

What about kids using them for presentations etc. I know a lot of our kids are and its getting out of hand. I know of some of the legalities but the Head of ICT seems to truna blind eye. I know that 99% of thiese mp3s are illegal. DOes anyone have a site/document that i can use to show the issues we are opening our selves up to?

We use scripts here very succesfully on 650 clients.

We are runnin git in 2 rooms only with a select few of yr 9, again for assessment reasons only.

Have you tried uninstalling any previous versions first?

I tried to repackage KS3 Science today and have had no luck. I used MaSai editor again which i used to succesfully package KS3 Maths but Science just wont work. Any suggestions?

You need to delete the above file, I have done a script to run at logon and i will be trying this tomorrow.

Is there any where you can change this time limit?
