You need to enable loopback policy processing for this to work under the GPO.

The books always fall short on the material, I did 8-9 exams before this caught me out. You need to look at the exam requirements as well and do a little further reading around some of these subjects that they gloss over in the course books.

I export them all then use a macro to put them into one document. You are outside SIMS at this point so the changes are only to the document and will not be reflected in profiles.

We usually end up doing that in bulk in a word document and using a regular expression find and replace to correct the issue. As you say though that does not alter the copy that is attached to the record.

I haven't played Rust but I will have a look at it. I agree the graphics are mediocre but as said it's not the finished product. On the subject of price you have to remember this is how some of the smaller developers fund their projects and it's not a full £35 at least. I must say I haven't had any issues with it apart from the annoyance of putting a ladder up in a vertical shaft, apart from that its been fine for me and very enjoyable. I think once this game reaches maturity it will be epic and hopefully this wont be a long time.

I bought Far Cry 3 which I got bored with and the whole Bio Shock series which I haven't touched yet. I really enjoyed the new Wolfenstein game but it doesn't take long too complete a game like that

Its got bags of potential, I'm really enjoying it in alpha so I can't wait to see the final release. I'm sure this game will be the best in some sort of co-operative mode. I've not ventured onto a public server yet but I'm going to try later, lets see how long before I get killed for the contents of my backpack like on Day Z

Yes it's the same sort of thing as Day Z but with the added building element allowing you to design your base of operations. I'm currently living underground until I have enough resources.

Anyone else playing 7 Days To Die? I've been struggling to find a game recently that keeps my attention for more than an hour but this is causing that time loss experience where you look at the clock and it's 9:30 then you look ten minutes later and it's after midnight! It a zombie based survival game with scavenging, crafting and the ability to build your own fortifications to keep the hordes out. I never got into MineCraft but I'm loving this. It's still in Alpha but I've not had any crashes or anything yet. There's still plenty of development to do but it's very playable and multi player to boot! I'm still learning the game but it would be good to get an Edugeek server running if there is interest. ps it's currently part of the Steam sale.

I have been looking to refresh our SAN and have been getting some quotes through for EMC as this is what we have currently and have been very happy with it. Having got the quotes back there was an item on there I didn't recognise so I queried it and it turns out that EMC are now charging an extra support cost per TB of storage in the array! This extra cost has pushed the higher capacity specification out of our budget range which is very annoying /rant off

If you were looking to reduce log in times, this would be the last thing you would want to do; however if you mean you want to reduce the time for a first logon to a machine you want to look at a central default profile or a mandatory profile.

You can change the number of weeks to display under Tools > Setups > Attendance Setup > Module Setup.

You set the policy on the machine OU and enable loopback policy processing and this will apply the user settings only on that OU that the computer account is in. To do it on multiple machines for single users would be quite messy but doable.

Use a loopback policy on the laptop OU and change the settings you want to change.

Have you made sure the XNA framework is installed first ? I just looked at my MST file and all I've done is change the short cut location; however I haven't installed the newest version yet until we get some graphic cards upgrades going in our machines so I don't know if there are any new issues to deal with. Are you using /QN switch for the installer?

This sounds more like an issue with windows to me unless you have somehow changed the SSID. I would not be happy with WEP as it can be hacked with automated tools in less than a minute. The only reason not to use WPA2 in the past might have been support from the OS in use but that shouldn't be an issue now. Getting 802.1x radius authentication is the best thing for domain joined computers and is not really that hard to set up, but like you say you are only covering so your scope for change maybe limited.

I've always done a fresh install when upgrading to SSD because I read a few things about alignment and geometry issues, is this not really an issue?
