I remember with previous versions to 10.7 it was always suggested that you disable kerberos. When setting up integration in the correct steps it does this for you. But because lion uses a different version of kerberos it does not need to be done now. Ross

Maybe a bit late to the thread but we have used Salto for the past 6 years. Cant complain ticks all the boxes and allows us to use the same card for our cashless catering and paper cut. Ross

Have you cleared all the partitions and remade them? IF that doesn't work sounds like hard drive failures imo. Ross

When you are logged in just a test go to Go at the top menu within finder and click go to home. You should see the whole user area.

Does it not work with the Mac Pro model? Such a shame they discontinued the xServe. I have one of the last models in my server room and not looking forward to replacing it!

You can get a bare metal vm solution for mac servers with Parallels and Vmware.

Thats a shame Lets be honest Apple won't be changing that any time soon!

I maybe wrong here but if people have a VMware virtual environment I think you can run a mac server virtually now. You don't really need a high spec machine for policy enforcement. Ross

On a client you have tried to deploy the client to go to c:\windows\ccmsetup and go to ccmsetup.log. Near the bottom you may have an Ssl error. Let me know what the log says. Ross

Just curious but I would remove the folder redirect with the manifest preferences and see if you see an improvement. I am working on a site Friday with a slowness issue with logins and general performance. I am going to setup a fresh image on them to see if it cures the issue they are having. Ross

I generally set static on both ports. On the server end and iSCSI connection. You would also want to look at Teaming your network cards for your Hyper-V virtual networks. Ross

I would look at how you are caching. I have enabled caching in a school to the local machine and it made it worse than caching to the network drive. But as JR mentioned above maybe down to a large factor of things. It maybe worth setting up your image again from scratch. If all else fails get a consultant in. Ignore the breadcrumb thats a test at the mo. Our current website is managed externally and running on jshop and offers no way of customising it ourself. Also the navigation is terrible on our current website. Compared to the new one its a lot easier to get to where you want to go. Ross
