  1. Snipe IT for us.
  2. Oddly, we have the following; 1 Authentication-Results celsianeducation.co.uk; dkim=none (message not signed) header.d=none;celsianeducation.co.uk; dmarc=none action=none header.from=ourdomain.co.uk; Our domain being there is fine, but it's strange that celsianeducation.co.uk is on there (it was one of the recipients though)
  3. 100% as it appears in their sent folder. I'm guessing someone has entered their details into a fake website.
  4. I've just been made aware that an email has been sent out to multiple users from a shared mailbox with a link to a fake O365 account. Does anyone know if there's a way to look at the headers of an email message to find out any information on the machine used to send it?
  5. Very true, we have one school that has a backbone running along the bottom of their field. But there isn't a node anywhere near sky cant access it. For a 500/1000 you are looking at £3k pa, maybe cheaper now as that was a year ago.
  6. If you are near a CityFibre location you are onto a winner!

    Remote Support

We've started to use this, does what we need and works well.
  8. It could wake the children up on a monday morning
  9. Thanks, will investigate. Do you know if you can use any type of music streaming service with the Bodet system?
  10. It's an option as we are currently looking to replace the ageing wifi system, haven't used them before. Anyone know what the audio quality is like?
  11. I already have data cabling in. Was seeing if i could get away with having to cable again.
  12. Pretty open to be honest. It would make it easier if it was over the IP network as it means sources could come from anywhere.
  13. Hi All, I have a requirement to music playing in the corridors, i've heard some schools using Sonos to do this but i'd rather use ceiling speakers. I'd like to run these speakers over Cat6. Is there a way to do this over an IP network utilising POE and allowing you to install normal speakers? EDIT: After a bit of Googling, i've just found the term to be called AoIP. New one on me!
  14. I have a tech playing around with Netsupport Notify and seeing if it would work for evacuations etc. Does anyone know if it will send a WOL packet? I could see a teacher presenting to the children, the children then get on with work and the teacher pc goes to sleep meaning the teacher wouldn't see the notify message.
  15. Hmmm, think I'll be dropping them an email.
  16. Do you get any included minutes with those channels? I get charged for porting too.
  17. We have a school that has purchased a few Sonos play's for in the corridors. I'm setting them up, all goes fine till I add them to the wireless network to which point it can no longer talk to it. From my research it uses upnp to communicate. I've logged into the Meru controller and enabled the allow multicast flag but still cant see them. Any ideas?
  18. Will have to look into the BigClown stuff as i haven't heard of that before. I've been looking at the The Things Network, their gateway is pretty cheap (£250) and this allows for many manufactures of sensors. It's a mixture of meters really, there are various issues such as some water meters already have sensors attached with encrypted data being broadcast at 433Mhz which only the water company can read.
  19. Has anyone looking into smart buildings in their school/schools? I'm currently looking at how we obtain near real time meter readings/usages data and i'm thinking The Things Network" will be the way to go. Down the line i'd like to add a sensor in each classroom that will measure temp/humidity/CO2 etc Biggest hurdle i'm finding at the moment is that all our meters are different and so figuring out sensors for them can be difficult, an easier way would be to install sub meters but i'd rather not do that.
  20. We have a OVS-ES agreement and i'm wanting to use SCCM for deployment and also using it to manage defender, is anyone able to give some indicative pricing?
  21. Currently using Hetzner (Germany) but looking to move it to the UK although there isn't any sensitive data stored on there.
  22. I use the former. Trunk supply only.
  23. Oh and another option to host the Unifi Controller is to use someone like Digital Ocean. It really doesn't need a lot of power, we are hosting 13 schools on at a cost of £3 month.
  24. i'm with Gamma directly Looks like i'll be going back to them to have a moan.
  25. Whos that with? I could only get £10/channel/month with 5000/2000mob minutes although i have a feeling its the same company. What sort of number of channels do you have from them?
