  1. I don't think there is a way dissable the factory reset or passcode, but I have heard of some software called meraki that can be used to help manage iPads. I have not used meraki though so I can't say for sure.
  2. You could make a password reset, like below some instructions on how to make one. VBScript Change Password - How to Set a User account password with SetPassword But Alt-Ctrl-Del is the normal way may be better for them to learn that.
  3. Hello @Ooroo, I have worked in a school that has do the CAT tests for number of years. 1. we normal don't issue headphones unless of unique cases, (a, a student requires it or b, a student is doing a catch up in a office that a member of staff is working in) 2. Normal sound is checked by the member of staff watching the student. 3. I believe you need to have 'Show all content' so yes. 4. No freezes for the last few years, but when we did the student needed to redo the test. 5. No I always get the staff to tell them not to press the browser back and forward buttons. The students that do will then need to resit the test, normal a good test to see who is following instructions. 6. Internet explorer. 7. The school has all the year 6\7 do the test over the span of 3 days. best advise I can give is try aviod laptops being used were ever possible. Hope this is helpful.

  16. Part of me thinks that they are still trying to find ways to avoid another London 2011, where it's believe that gangs used social media to organise the riots. Could be me miss reading this and just the goverment trying to tie down the internet.

  25. That does seem rather bad if the school does create another way for students to be bullied, but the artical seems more to do with "would someone please think of the children" from parents. will this cause bullying? Yes, if they did not do the iPad scheme will it stop the bullying in the school? No, only give the students on less reason to bully someone. Why do y5 and y6 need iPads? I know there are a load of education apps but if a lesson relies on an app that some students have on their iPads and others that have never had or delete that app that's the hole lesson plan gone. Or is this scheme away to look progressive?
