Depending on if you need to reload the firmware, you need to check which hardware version the switch is - it will either be A or B Dlink aren't quite upto date with putting their firmware on their website... using their FTP site you can get the latest firmware (2.61.B016) for Hardware Version B from this link. ftp://ftp.dlink.de/dxs/dxs-3600-32s/driver_software/DXS-3600-32S_fw_revB_2-61-B016_20200302.zip

We previously used Cubase Elements 9 and it had installers for everything we needed. However, we are moving to Cubase Elements 11 and have found it now has a Library Manager to manage VST files, which is great - but how do you mass deploy VST files? Is it a simple case of copying them to a folder location? Any hints and tips welcome. Cheers

What type of cable have you tried using to connect with putty?

Have you connect to the switch via the console port to see what happens a when the switch boots up? Use putty, connect using 8N1 Baudrate 115200 I also use the same model and not had any issues apart from then I ordered a second ans had a stacking issues which was firmware related - they emailed a firmware version not on the uk site. Have you contacted their support site - Bit slow but replied the following day for me.

I have a copy of our SIMS.net VM running on an isolated test lab so I can run the SQL 2016 Migration wizard and test migrating to a new server. Migration starts to run but after approx 20 mins it fails with a timeout error and leave the database in single user mode. I then have to set the database back to multi user mode before I can use it again. Anyone done the migration and had similar issues? Have just logged a ticket with Capita/[insert new company name] - so while I wait for them to reply, thought I would ask on here. Cheers

Solved it I think....... downloaded a nice piece of software from HIKVision called SADP which scans for active devices. Put my PC on the CCTV VLAN and instantly found all the HIKVision cameras. The Gateway address was still down as the default 192.x.x.x address Soon as I put in the correct Gateway address I could now connect to the camera and also see them on the IP Scanner.

We have a number of CCTV HIKVision Camera system (installed by 3rd Party as part of Safeguard bid) the HIK Vision Camera are IP Based ones. I also have some Unifi Cameras on the same vlan. HIKVision system is to monitor building externally and some dooor entry areas while the Unifi Cameras are for IT Suites and the odd corridor area. The HIKVision cameras have statically assigned IP Address while the Unifi Camera are DHCP assigned. When I run an IP Scanner on the CCTV Vlan, only the Unifi cameras IP Addresses are being returned. I am also unable to connect the HIKVision camera via the static IP Addresses. Anyone know why reason why the IP Scanner isnt picking up the HIKVision cameras etc..... No ACLs are in places on the switches or VLANs Cheers
