Did I mention there's a skeptical meet up in a place that provides plenty of alcohol? -

I think you need to conduct your own research or wait for mine to be published and peer reviewed. I keep getting distracted or I fall over... -

It's a lovely part of the world I live very nearby now. @Disease - the more the merrier -
Thought I'd post this here as I know this forum has a number of like-minded people with interests in science, rational thinking and of course, beer! I'm currently organising a Skeptics in the Pub (Skeptics in the Pub) meeting for the 25th January 2011 7:00PM at: The Mermaid 222 New Road PO2 7RW This is an off-shoot from the Hampshire Skeptics Society. The pub have agreed to do some snacks too - trying to get an idea of numbers before we've had a meeting is near impossible! If you'd like to attend drop me a PM, reply on this thread, join our facebook group (Portsmouth Skeptics in the Pub ( Pompey SitP ) | Facebook) or Twitter feed @sitpportsmouth I'd urge anyone interested in attending or speaking to get involved - we are talking to some very interesting people at the moment!

Take longer too? I spent longer getting from Heathrow to Waterloo than Heathrow to Berlin last week. And even longer still from Waterloo to Portsmouth!

Slightly OT... Be careful with the Kindle - my screen got broken and I don't remember doing anything horrible to it (and it's in one of their funky cases)

You joined after Mark and I created the longest thread (well, not sure now but it was at the time) on this site! http://www.edugeek.net/forums/behind-red-door/18360-scientology.html If you've got a week to kill it's quite a good read - please don't BUMP it by replying to anything though! -

That's not magical enough for me... Don't you want to see if this stuff works? They've got diagrams so it's probably all true! http://www.spiritualresearchfoundation.org/aboutspiritualresearch/SpiritualPractice/prayer/images/Various-types-of-prayer-pos.gif -
