  5. The power just got shifted. This is why it's so significant. There info is already released in an encrypted format - one tweet with the key and that information is sitting on the C: of thousands of computers all over the world. While I'm not completely happy with unfiltered information like this being released (how would I feel if it was my personal emails for example) I am delighted that knowledge is power once again and maybe our governments will start to represent the people rather than themselves. (I ain't no commie though!)
  6. Srsly? eduboobs? Have a few drinks last night you lot?

  8. Don't think it's ever a good idea to have the 4chan community against you. This is a very interesting time to be alive - the internet takes down capitalism? There's obviously a limit to what information should be shared but I don't think the US government should decide on their own!
  9. LOL
  10. An encrpyted copy of all the leaked cables has been distributed over p2p - if they were to take down Wikileaks (and every mirror) the decryption key would just be announced and the information would be in the hands of everyone. This is significant stuff and a debate that I'm really interested in both sides of

  20. I hate to be pedantic (well, I don't really!) but it may have been assembled in six days but that's only the very last stage of construction. The build may have started months before where each panel and frame was welded etc... On site time is low but total time prob = normal.
  21. Remaining on my must have list are: Ben Goldacre Graham Linehan Stephen Fry Mark Watson Daniel C Dennett Dara O'Briain. I think after that I will be happy I have a mutual friend with Graham so should be easy next time I'm in London and Mark Watson has agreed to sign it after his show in Portsmouth at the end of the month. Dr Ben and Dara will be at Nine Lessons and Carols for Godless People - any extras I can get there would be nice
