yes it will run local app's , but why would you want too? We have windows 7 thin PC locked down on older pc's as a sort of "thin client" , just to connect to the VDI , if you really wanted too i suppose you could get remote app working with it

Dear Teachers, Please be aware that You tube have made some changes on their website recently, If you try to watch a you tube video in Internet explorer and computer has no sound it will give an error ( as pictured below) *Please note the volume icon at the very bottom right hand corner is RED (and so has a problem) To work around this problem you can do any of the following: 1) plugging in your speakers correctly 2) Making sure your volume is turned up 3) Try using google chrome instead of Internet explorer If you still have experience problems please report it via the desktop icon.

superatticman, whats the error you get when trying to load then login management studio? is it access denied? are the SQL services started>? are you connecting to the right DB? could be a number of things.

I think Microsoft are heading in a direction that will make end users rely on the cloud, This device supports office 2013 and so Storage on Office 365 or "sky drive" , AD may be becoming a thing of the past, Think no more onsite servers, think Azure+office 365+skydrive+ms accounts. One step closer to offering "desktops as a service". 1 RDS Farm for everything from micrsoft , stored in the cloud.

Hi all, a friend of mine has just taken on an office and wondered if we should rip this out. I notice one end is BNC and the other??? some kind of square terminal. could this be used for an old type of terminal computer system? have you tried an alternate DNS server just in case? Try 8.8.8.8. which firewall do you have? what is your default gateway? can you tracert BBC - Homepage ?

Hello Edugeek, So recently I noticed I have outgrown my blackberry and got myself a nice 2nd hand Samsung note. I am new to android but find it amazing, the first thing I did was upgrade it to 4.2.2 using something called paranoid android but now I am stuck, I want to be able to run a Linux distro on it, now the web says you can do this if you have a loop enabled kernel and certain apps installed and for the life of me I cannot get it working. I was hoping someone with Linux knowledge would lend a hand? What I have done so far:- installed terminal emulator installed busybox installed superuser installed androidvnc installed complete Linux installer When I try and run my distro it says "unable to mound the loop device" ? any help.

@sloughman we have netsupport and also MERU wireless, the reason I asked the above questions was to provide you with a workaround instead of enabling broadcasting. If you have netsupport support contract I would speak to them about setting up a netsupport Gateway , This will fix your problem.

IN NETSUPPORT do you use a netsupport gateway? How many clients do you have?
