your right it is 25 for win 7 i have sepeare kms keys for win 7 and server 2008r2, not used them yet though, sily question have you put your win 7 key on your kms server or are you trying to activate a server 2008r2 machine?

have you reached the minimun number required for activation to begin? i think win 7 is 5 if your run slmgr.vbs /dlv does it show you all the products it will register for you?

id report it to microsoft and see what you get back, it sounds like a very strange problem, its very strange that it hasnt vanished after a format, id start to think its somthing to do with the motherbored, never seen anything like it, i have had problems when there server decided that its ram was full but it wasnt, have you tried re-starting there server where the netword drives are hosted?

I use whatever SIMS spits out, A+4 digit number at the moment, no duplicates as sims takes care of that, staff is initails at the moment, going to change that soon. i let staff have read access to student drives but not wright, no one has complained so its going to stay like that for now, i block a hole host of file extensions at the server end for everyone there is a push to use more of moodle to cut down on our printing costs and to me more eco.

i have android inatlled on my HTC HD2 im using the SD Card method as i want to keep the windows os just incase i ever have to clame on my insurance, i can atleast pop out the SD Card and it will just be stock. i just upgraded the rom a few weeks back, got BoxmaXMccm S3.5 Runnymede v3.1 installed on it at the moment, it can be a bit slugish as the one i have on is really designed for a device with a bit more ram and a dual core processor not to bad though, got it connected to wifi, my job system and exchange/calendar, works for what i need it to. my next phone will be android from stock though.

the only thing i didnt managed to get it to do is install the serial driver, i can get it to do everything else, and if a previouse driver is installedon the machine it will detect it and install the serial driver, if its a fresh install i have to run the driver msi again and tell it to do it has anyone got an mst file that will tell it to install the serial driver? i dont re-install the machines that often so its not really a big deal.

we have migrated to office 2010 EES agreement, gives us unlimited installes of the KMS version of office pro, unlimited installs of the kms Windows 7 when we upgrade our servers and the teachers get the right to buy office pro 2010 for a very small amount. just nead to count the total number of full time staff each year so far so good, everyone is getting the hang of it, (got two more machines to go and we are fully swaped over from 2003) and i have set up a moodle self training course for all the staff and students using the documents provided by microsoft. we have 4 apple imac machines, they are running the newest version of office for mac 2011.

Netgear WAG102's all the same, just want to see if i can get them running better, they work fine as they are 80-90% of the time, just have a few areas where i can get a signal off a couple but they are all low to average signals

should i set them all to have the same channel? there are no other wierless signals around us, we are set a fair bit away from all the houses Edit: ok, thanks, ill try and plan it out a bit more, re work a few of them, ill keep them seperate, no money to change the system to anything else, got to live with it, might try and get a controler for them at some point

I have 23 AP's dotted around the school and im trying to figure out a way of getting them to work better, I have been using a Wierless sniffer to see the different channels i have them on, would it be better to have all the AP's to have the same channel say 10 instad of each beeing on its own, with a few repeats a bit appart from each other? they all have the same SSID but do show up with wildley different SNR scores. any help appriciated thanks.

SIMS is running on a different AD domain to the rest of the school system, there is only a link through to the correct ports to get sims to work, hoping to do it without having to change usernames as there would have to be a reference made to link the new usernames with the old ones for the old records to make sence. im hoping that there is a database record i can change (get our support company) that will tell the software to auto tick the change password box on the login page every say 30 days or so.

Im looking to see if anyone has any idea on how to get sims to require a change of password after a set amount of days, i already require the staff to change there password after a set amount of days via AD, im looking to do ssomething similar with SIMS, i have asked our support company that deals with SIMS to contact capita about it but i have not heard back from them yet. anyone have any ideas? im trying to improve our security in every way i can.

Im trying to add a link to an external site that hosts our list of available jobs, going well, i can see it and its loaded the right location but its not sending the language variable correctely to the site. we operate a bilinguale site, welsh and english so i need the link to send the correct language code. when the link is sent instead of it sending ?language=en-GB or ?language=cy-GB its sending xlanguage which means the webite has no idea what im asking for and reverts to english as the standard. any help? thanks

im getting a slight annoyence with this now, everything works but for some reason ocasionally cmd will fail to let go of the script, if enough fail it wont run again till i run iisreset, and then it is more than happy to work. cmd is set up for read access from th iis user only thanks

I want to Add a image, the first thumbnail from the lightbox gallery plugin that it generates to the top/side of the link that is generated within the module, im not sure where to start looking in the code, any ideas? want to make it more interesting than just a text link to the plugin, i know i can add one manually but id like to have lightbox create it for me. any help apreciated thanks

i have now fixed the fault, i ended up re-instlling my virtual machine and installing magicinfo-i befor adding it to the domain, looks like it works now

Ive requested the new MagicInfo-I Premium software and im in the middle of, installing it, the client went on the screen with no problems, im having some problems in getting the new server software to install, im trying to install miip server 1006.5, ive got the database ready to go and i can input all the information the installer asks for but it then just stops just befor it starts to install any files or services, it is still running as fast as task manager is concerned but i cant get it to respond or show me anything other then a screen asking me to click next which i cant. thanks

I have it running on my test machine, ported over a copy of our moodle site to see if i could upgrade it, after a lot of faffing i did, but in the process lost beteen 6 and 12 plugins that we use very regularly, so untill they are upgraded or i get the time to see if i can upgrade them we will not be moving over, our support company is building all of their new recources in moodle 2 though, that could become a problem for us in the future.

ive got it working , turns out it was a fault either in the php version i have installed 5.2.9-2 or in the way the code was written to work on windows, not sure, i had to re write a bit of the _SMBCLIENT function to get it to understand double quotes. annoying problem but sorted now , also fixed my file uploads, moodle itself uses a temp folder in the moodledata folder that it has read/write access to, this script uses the default temp folder for the os that it didnt have read/write to and i couldnt set it either, kept beeing overitten. i set the php.ini temp folder to a new location within the php folder and set the correct permissions and it worked ive added the modified file to this post so anyone else has this same problem i have found. here is the file class_smbwebclient.zip

we do, though i have tried it with and without the firewall on, still the same, its like its not waiting for the file to finish tranfering befor it finishes, im not getting errors in my logs, it could be something to do with cygwin/windows, i dont think there is another plugin like this around, when we eventually migrate to virtual servers i think ill set up a linux box for our websites.
