Same here, frog being switched off soon and some of the data being migrated to Google Classroom. No need for a full blown VLE anymore. We never changed to FrogOS/FrogLearn or whatever they call their latest iteration these days!

After weeks of messing around trying to make this "Education" version fit for purpose I'm giving up. Enterprise LTSB is going to be our route for the moment. We dont have to mess around with all the bloatware, cortana rubbish or anything like that.It can safely be rolled out and if anything changes with the "Education" version in the future and it becomes fit for purpose then we can roll that out and because LTSB will be deployed already it shouldn't be an issue with having to update constantly.

Just out of interest how are you rebuilding the iso? I have extracted the install.wim from the ISO but obviously cannot copy it back in......

I think the new start menu is better. Much less cluttered

Not the same bit similar a startup scripts copy our start menu to a local folder and then folder redirection looks at that folder. We also remove all programs from the start menu however a gotcha I'm trying to resolve is if you specify an xml for a start menu layout it doesn't work as the folder redirection happens after the Xml is loaded this meaning the start menu is stripped again! [emoji22] Not sure this is of any use to you but something to look out for.

Be aware if you have had the nagging screen to setup verification once logged into Office365 as an Admin. The mobile number or landline number you use to verify is stored against your account. I come across if by accident. One to look out for if you don't want your mobile number broadcasted within the GAL.

Sorted it in the end and just removed the store completely. Win 10 image all but done and ready to roll out!

Same here, will be interested to know also. Have tried Hybrid for past week or so but we want to get rid of on-Prem altogether. The issue with that is we have used AD sync and that's now become the source of authority. However after a lengthy call with MS support today if we disable it and the users are removed it will be ok. Another caveat to look out for is the 2000 mailbox limit if wanting to do a cutover migration. Exchange 2010 cannot do a staged cutover apparently but we have over 3000 mailboxes so to get around it we'll have to hide at least 1000 mailboxes from the GAL, do a batch migration and then unhide and do another until everyone is over. According to MS support anyway....... Don't know if that helps at all?

No not at all, all users. Removed their local profile, created new and store is still on start menu which I can live with but it works. Can't have that!

Just out of interest how did you get rid of the user badge? I hate that face!!
