  1. Bandicam is good for recording. You can also record mic sound if you were planning on adding some step by step chat too.
  2. Think this is in need of a move elsewhere! @Dos_Box, @ZeroHour?
  3. Another +1 for VirtualBox here. We use them for testing and training and it's an awesome application!
  4. The WarZ?! ARRRHHH! Not heard this title for a while and it's brought old wounds to the surface!!! Avoid, avoid, avoid! Think of The War Z as the BNP of Zombie Games. The devs and project leads for it are worse the EA and London City Bankers and I really wished they would have given up by now. Such a shame it got back onto Steam... Don't count on it. All I ever hear is"it's done when it's done". I know it will be worth waiting for, and am really looking forward to it, but 6 months past the initial suggested release date and not a wiff of a minecraft style alpha release?
  5. Just ordered one on your recommendation. Thanks for pointing it out.
  6. I'm going at it, trust me! Got the complete collection on my iPad. With rubbish weather, think I'll call in to Starbucks for an hour and hammer another couple of chapters.
  7. Well, only a year to wait then!!! :'(
  8. Rezzed 2013 | Anyone going to this? Sunday looks interesting with a DayZ stand alone update with Dean 'Rocket' Hall!
  9. "Seriously... ..last chance..." It's like you knew I'd have a sneaky peek! See you in there once I've caught up, though I may be a while! Ed has just killed lady!
  10. Any bluetooth device. Some reviewers are using them with iPads, iPhones etc and they work just fine. One minor thing is that apparently the Sony device can show you "now playing" track titles on the display, but it seems to be hit and miss on some devices. Guessing that kind of functionality may be tied in specifically to Sony phones more than others.
  11. Yea, was thinking that. Seems the Samsung one has voice control to change tracks. Would be weird walking down the street going saying "Next... next...next..." all the time!
  12. I'm looking to get a bluetooth headphone adaptor for music playback with my phone as the headphone jack is a bit iffy. I've seen these two devices and wondered if anyone has one, or uses something similar? Sony Ericsson MW-600 Bluetooth Stereo Headphones Samsung HS3000 Bluetooth Stereo Headset - Black
  13. You may also want to take into account 64-bit devices (if you have them) as Chrome will be installed to %ProgramFiles(x86)%. Also, @BKGarry is right, remove the C: from the SET FILE line as it's included in the %ProgramFiles% variable path.

    Flexing my muscles

Good choice. ARMA3 ALPHA with everything on MAX. Planetside 2 is well worth it, and F2P too.
  15. Good idea! Solution: - Go to Chrome Options - Show Advanced Options - Under Language, click on Language and input settings… - Click Add and find English (United Kingdom) and add it to the existing list - Click and hold English (United Kingdom) and drag it to the top of the existing list - (Optional) You can also click the Use this language for spell checking button for UK Spell Checking. - Restart chrome and job done!
  16. Never mind! Found a solution and fixed it!
  17. We've recently started using a new web based help desk solution. It's fully compatible with the main popular web browsers. Annoyingly though, when using it in Chrome and looking at tickets, dates are shown in US format (MM/dd/YYYY). Load it up in IE and the date formats are in UK (dd/MM/YYYY). I can't find what's causing this problem but it points to something in Chrome as another chrome user has UK date formats. I've checked all the usual regional settings time format settings but am stumped. Any suggestions?
  18. It's going to be fun for sites with a mixture of the above packages! eg, all of them!
  19. The best way for three monitors = two dedicated graphics cards.
  20. I "think" they are only suitable for mirroring a display, eg,a desktop monitor and projector.

I discovered this free app only recently but it's my new fave. It's an enhanced screen shot tool that allows you to take screen shots either full screen, window, selection or full web pages. It runs in the system tray and can be activated with a series of key presses. The selection screen shot tool is awesome as it has a "sniper" like scope for pinpointing screen grabs: When you've taken a screen grab, you can choose how to process it: Upload to Imgur is cool as it generates a link and sticks it straight on your clipboard. Handy for adding screen shots to forum posts via URL!
  22. Interesting. At £5.98, it may well be worth a punt! Double the mAh too.
  23. Replacement. From an overnight charge, and minimal use, the battery is usually dead around 3pm. Bah.Not got my model there.
  24. I'm considering getting a new battery for my HTC Desire HD. A quick net search returns loads of "iffy" looking sites and re-sellers on Amazon/Ebay. I guess an "official" HTC battery will be the safe option to go for, but not sure if there are any better options that are available? I obviously don't want something that will blow up, or die after 2 hours standby. Any recommendations of a reliable place to check out?

I was about to make a thread on this too! Bet you'll need Origin soon to play it too!
