How do you cope when you open a window as admin and then Office desires to sign in as your standard user? I am also sure there are some portals that need you to have a licence.

Do you licence your admin and standard account for Office 365 so that you can separate your admin and standard user? Do you mind paying for an extra account if you used paid-for features?

I am aware of those criticisms but generally they put you in a strong position. Have you looked at your pension I know I am currently only going to get about £25k a year when combined with the state pension. I believe they the £34k plus is seen as the rich pension bracket. I think one of the issues is in the cloud we can build redundant systems on premises we were never allowed to budget wise. This is why the cloud is attractive to education IT teams. I would like to move away from PCP car financing. Our PCP come to end next year. I was in a position to buy my car finance free but my wife’s / our main car is on PCP. I do need to say that my old golf never really missed a beat. It was a 2008 model and I owned it from 2014 to 2023. I did have it fully serviced every year did have an ignition coil go once. The full service is important on all cars.

Just to point out I am starting with no significant kit replacement strategy. We have staff with machines that have been kept going through heroic efforts of a team member. Other staff have newish Dell desktops I want the on call team to get laptops. I very tempted by leasing or reconditioned kit to get laptops rolled out quickly. Currently we working over RDP when wfh and this is rubbish. A four year project may send me mad.

How did you calculate the resale value. I have a preference to give a particular groups of user new mobile devices and hand the new desk tops on to another group of use keep it consistent. Rather than new staff getting device or people with device failure getting the new kit.

This just annoys me why are some kids so stupid that they can’t enjoy nice things and learn. They are stealing from themselves why do they want to be in a poor environment. What so difficult about sitting there and learning and being able to have a nice life? Or should these kids have gone to vocational courses to learn a trade? Society seems missing a military style discipline that we had this at Boys Brigade.
