I like the idea of a system that offers a cloud and local storage option. The problem with local storage in a camera is you seal the camera you get the footage.

Any suggestions to replace blink cameras with they don’t seem to like that kind of rain we have outside? I am not able to put the back on to stop water entering. What would your suggestion as a replacement?

Removed as it was a waste of money and reduced ability to run a network. It made sense with windows 3.11 but when NT4 came a long it was silly.

I seem to have a LAN-WAN-HTTP-proxy restricted policy when I update this policy it stops authpoint and cloud management working. This policy also has a proxy attached to it. When the policy gets updated I get a mess about using the Any-External alias if it is used to handle not-IPSec traffic.

Why is it that schools have daft rule on coat wearing and about the colour of hats and gloves that can be worn? Students have to wear coats of a certain type or colour but they are not allowed to wear them in school. Why then do we have to get a different coat to the item that was ok in primary school last year? My son was gong to wear and orange hat on his way to school but my wife said it was not uniform spec. I do t remember such daft rules when I was at school I remember wearing my choose of warm extras I like warm gloves.

Some of the Alt-Net's will provide very fast FTTP connection in both directions so it does not have to be a lease line. I used too be able to build a laptop as quick at home as in the Office using Intune on my 150mb connection.

I can’t believe how recent some of these adverts seem to be they must have done there job with the seat belt.

I just put a seat belt on automatically now you have to put effort into not wearing one! People will get the clip and plug it in so as to stop the alarm! May be this is Darwin evolution in action but they kill other people in the process!

I already have an Openreach ONT with internal splice point. Moving to Fibrus I would get a new fibre run from the pole and new ONT. There an Alt-net in NI and the North.

I am wondering if the use of the existing openreach fibre is less hassle. That saves having a new fibre and ONT on the wall so I might win wife points!

I could get Zen but Fibrus and Plusnet offer connections for cheaper >£27.99. Fibrus offer two eero’s as part of their package. I would also need to have a new fibre run from the pole and a new ONT.

There now an option to get Fibrus 300/100mb for £19.99 a month with 2 eero’s. Is this worth it they are an alt-net.

You could put a temporary dimmer on the bar with temporary feed from a 13amp socket per dimmer. I seen 4-6 lights and two moving fixture used to do the lighting required. Simple can work you don’t have to have the lighting rig as used by Queen.

I used to do lighting with a guy in my church for Christmas and we used very few lights for amazing lighting. The key was enough white light with two moving fixtures for colours.

But I would then have work data on my personal laptop.
