Well "Wmic bios get serial number" produces the serial number and that out put could be piped into another command. Or some kind of MDT/sccm task could do it.

The other thing is do a find and replace on the user name on the exported reg. I did this by loading the reg from file and exporting to a file and loading into notepad and then find and replace for the user name used to create the profile with %username%. I think someone did cover this in one of the guides.

I installed the main created msi but must have missed creating the licence. How did you create the program or package as adobe have you building a package with two programs in it?

Have you checked your switch configuration as I had this issue with a netgear that the configuration had not been saved. After rebooting restating the switch the issue went away.

We have the same issue here this was after a reboot Azure AD sync will not start. I have tried different user and I did a full server restore to the Friday that it was last working.

I am trying to use the unattend answer file and I am getting the following message in SCCM this file has worked fine in MDT. Windows could not parse or process the attend answer file for pass [specialize]. The settings specified in the answer file cannon be applied. The error was detected while processing settings for component [Microsoft-Windows-Shell-Setup] I am trying to get the copy profile command to work.

Please could someone explain capturing the Local admin profile into the default profile using MDT? I have SCCM but apparently MDT is what should be use but I can't see the right information on line. If anyone else is looking search for "System Center Config Mgr" on the volume licencing site. I have update the SQL to 2016 from 2008 R2 but I had to apply SP3 to get there. I am now waiting for 1606 to install and then I will look at going to 1702.

Yes I found it on the volume licensing portal just look at the prerequisites. Don't know if anyone can explain the sql requirements? I going from 2012 to 1702 so a massive jump.

I have upgraded to Sierra but the mapping to the Windows file server seem to no longer work any suggestions? These are pushed out with profile manager. Also the OS does not seem to be able to cope with mapping "smb://fs1/student$/yeargroup/My Documents" on logon.

It seems that the next offering from ISP/Openreach is about 6 months away. These seem to be dark fibre, fibre on demand and G.fast/LR-VDSL.
