I did phone up plusnet for a better deal but they would only take it down to £34 form £38.50. I have a billion router so I know that my phone line now only syncs at 51mbps this was 65 when I was the only customer on the Green box for me the 52mbit server is the right size. The Billion has been amazingly stable and made the connection so much better.

Can you get Single fibre transceivers for popular modes of switch yet? I was looking at the ADVA box and it only use one fibre can we do the same? It could be a cost effective way of getting more links then again it could cost silly money for the transceivers.

If you apply all software updates and firmware updates it might improve speed. I got a 2 netgear nas units and I upgraded to the latest firmware and speed has improved so had applying windows update to the cluster. I am using veeam free version.
