    It's here!!

    I'm having trouble gaining access.

    It's here!!

I can't remember our login details! :S Going to have to chase those before I can have a 'play'!
  4. I've installed these at work; they're brilliant for the speakers in the 'atriums'. Before I had installed them we suffered with masses of interference. Now, we've no problem at all! I've also installed the timer ones on our Plasmas around site. Trying to prolong their life! hehe

    Firewall at home

I'm running a FireBrick back at home. (http://www.firebrick.co.uk/) I managed to get it free when they first came out, forget how now. I've kept the firmware up-to-date and it has never let me down!
  8. Sorry what's the web address for that site? They had some interesting videos!
  9. Sounds like ISA reinstall would do the job.
  10. See http://www.edugeek.net/forums/showthread.php?p=151788 - Perhaps TeamViewer. You don't require a client installation previous to support, they just need to run a small exe.
  11. All other issues are resolved. Thanks everyone for your contribution! I have another issue which has started this week! They don't stop! Here is the failure message: Note: Resource: "\\SERVERNAME\Microsoft Exchange Mailboxes" is not snappable. Attempting to back up directly from the source volume. AD Group Report

Thanks everyone! Brilliant 'Wiseman82' exactly what I need!
  13. would like too - need to ask the boss!
  14. Sounds like a GP issue. By changing the value in the GPO this will make the modifcation to the registry. Have you forced a GP update? (gpupdate /force)
  15. @gazboy7 - Wouldn't recommend Ramesys! I had a full implementation, whole new school, installed by them; we're only just coming to the end of the 'snag' list, only a year on! I've found their helpdesk support poor too.
  16. Thanks everyone for your input! I've discovered that deploying 4OD isn't the way forward! Ah well, staff will have to enjoy streaming content from the BBC!
  17. @ZeroHour - Thanks for your comments. I do mean the streaming part of iPlayer. I would like staff to benifit from the steaming part of 4OD. Is this not possible?
  18. @john - I must admit iPlayer wins my vote all the time! Nice and simple setup, nothing like the 4OD client! Staff can benefit from iPlayer without our assistance at all!
  19. @FN-Greatermanchester - Staff will have access to it only too. However, I don't wish to install it on nearly 100 members of staff machines! Our staff all like to have access to everything! I'm thinking along the lines of deploying via GP - to only Staff OU's.
  20. Staff are enquiring about 4 On Demand, is this something we can roll out and so forth. Have any of you done this as yet? The application is an exe, has anyone packaged or looked at deployment as yet? Our staffs often use BBC iPlayer to show bits of programs, for example Dragons Den in Business Studies. They would like to do the same with Chanel 4 programs.

    AD Group Report

Afternoon all, I've looked at various AD reporting tools, all of which cost money! The end of the financial year is screaming and no money is left spare! What AD reporting tools do you use? In particular I need a report on our Distribution Groups. Administration would like a report of all our Distribution Groups and what members they have. I can't find anything simple, and free to do this! Anyone got any recommendations? Thanks for your time!
  22. Indeed - wasn't my first thought either!
  23. Or as Nick says - copy from another machine!
  24. Oh dear - Several options come to mind, retrieve from a backup or extract from the image of the PC? Both only help if you have the systems in place.
  25. 'sfoord' is correct - a 'top notch' contractor (CCIE - MCSE) can charge £200 - £300 per hour!
