  1. Is the image being directed to the desktop as a web image? I.e have you linked to a URL version of the image on a web server? If so maybe try attempting to direct the address to a local version of the desktop background and disable active desktop? Let me know how you get on?

  5. Hey guys, I am not sure if this is possibly at all, I would like to know if there is a way of integrating the proxy authentication login details into Microsoft Office 2003 so the students aren’t required to enter these details. This is mainly aimed at the lower year groups due to their literacy skills, it's difficult for them to access clipart which connects to the internet and requires proxy authentication. I would like to know if I can implement this information into Office 2003 via Active Directory maybe? Never done anything like this before, so not sure where to start. I know I could add the information into the default profile in the NETLOGON folder as a saved password for them, however, all the profiles downloaded from the sever wouldn't have this information. Any information is appreciated.

  7. My god, what time they have on their hands! I'm going to give this a shot tomorrow in work! It'll be interesting to see what our GPO's are set too. I'll give you some feedback depending on the outcome.
  8. Something I've never cleared up... Does the GPO need configuring to use an Admin account to install the software on a machine which is logged on as a restricted user?
  9. Oh right, sorry didn't read the post correctly!! Yeah a pause might do it.
  10. Hi everyone, new on here! Maybe try using a batch script. I know that these are going back but it would be interesting to see if any delay continues to take place.
