Indeed - a brilliant system, if only I could get it to bloody work with SQL! Does everyone else have the problem with the MS Access Database continuously falling over randomly?

I agree - luckily all our interactive whiteboards are SmartBoard.

We have interactive whiteboards in all rooms, they're not too much of a headach! We also have our Data VLAN accessable wirelessly, again no real bother. We run a Cisco WLAN Controller with RADIUS and TACACS.

The permissions on the 'C:\Program Files' also were an issue for me, the accounts accessing the software needed 'Full Control' over the application directory.

They're surely just referring to their whole network accessible wirelessly? From that I presume they don't have differnt VLAN's and so forth.

Perhaps this is where the problem is, teachers don't have the faith in the young pupils!

Indeed - we have gone for the software based version, don't ask me why! They didn't like the online trial they used or something. Anyhow, the software was a nightmare to network and so forth! After spending a week getting the software configured on the network and configuring a couple of labs, we then found our students failed to be able to spell their name at the least!

Interesting you say that, I was going to look at alternatives after getting stuck on the M1 and M25 the other day! How long does that route take you?

I would have liked to have come along, sadly I've the drive up from Reading, I'll leave pretty much straight after work. So will be on the road around 6pm, depending on traffic I should arrive around 8pm. It's a two hour trip for me! (M4, M25, M1...)

NetSupport allows you to do this - I wouldn't purchase the program just for this capability though! It's not a cheap program, but if you do happen to have it then it's a viable option.

It's the bloody configuring and deploying that I'm more worried about personally!
