I have been told that without server 2008 a number of group policy issues will appear, and without server 2008 r2 you cant use vb logon scripts with windows 7.

Funnily enough my pc liked the ati driver, though the Nvidia one destroyed it :S And i would personally go ATI as their cards are cheaper, and for the last year or so have appeared to beat the Nvidia ones? Or so i like to think

If your using 3 servers is 4gb of ram really enough? The cpu should theoretically be fine but id have at least 6gb, 2 for each server.

Yeah a friend helped design my pc, and my cpu fan is actually a case fan? It cools better then a normal cpu fan, and as it operates normally at 600 rpm you can barely hear it

If you want a/ a media pc and b/ longer lasting would it be worth getting a amd phenom x4? They should last quite a while, and theyre very good. Also the GFX is a bit low, but if your not playing games you dont need it. Love the 32 inch

Ricki, just curious as i have never used it, how does it compare to virtualbox or vmware workstation?

Buy the MCTS server 2008 books, they even come with a disk so you can install server 2008 on a VM, work through them then take the exams?

If not just fire up a VM of XP?

Have you tried uninstalling and then installing the latest driver for the NIC? Daft i know but it worked for me

The Processors ar nice and beefy, but the RAM is a bit old isnt it? Thought you might want newer stuff.
