I was double checking the exchange prerequisites for 2013 migration. The build number in my Exchange 2007 box says Version 8.3 (Build83.6) That would be vanilla Exchange 2007 SP3, But I know and verified that I'd installed KB2996150 This should put me at 8.3.406.0. Am I looking in the wrong place for the build numbers? I assume that 8.3 (Build83.6) is see in the console = 8.3.083.6? Cheers Is there a PS command to show build number?

Ok, i am building a computer for my friend, and so I have drawn up the following components for the computer, i was wondering if these parts are any good and whether they can be put together so then they form a computer that can do anything from going on the internet to playing games like Sims 3 (and others). Also if the components are out dated and not worth the money. BX80580Q8300 -- Intel Core 2 Quad (Q8300) 2.5GHz Processor -- £100.51 GA-EP31-DS3L -- Gigabyte EP31-DS3L 775 ATX -- £43.06 KVR667D2N5/1G -- 1GB DDR2-667 CL5 Non ECC (2)--£17.04 (£34.08) PV-T95G-YAR2 -- XFX GeForce (with CUDA) 9500 GT 512MB -- £40.20 0761345-02000-8 -- Antec computer case -- £28.65 BP500U GB -- Antec BP500U 500 Watt Power Supply Unit -- £40.87 STM3160813AS -- MAXTOR DIAMONDMAX22 160GB SATA (Seagate) -- £26.17 AD7240S-0B -- DVD+-R/RW/DL AD-7240S-0B SATA -- £15.41 Overall total = £328.96 Budget = £350 My friend hasn't specified an operating system yet, most probably Win7 EDIT>>All items in Bold is changes. Thanks in advance

Hey Guys, I know this may not be the best part of the forum to ask this question, however, i do enjoy the friendly replies and hope you guys can help me out as usual! I'm looking to make a home server, running 24/7 and thought i may be best with ESXi as i want to do numerous of things such as: Media Server - Also double as downloading server. Web hosting - personal use only. FTP - personal use only Home Automation VPN Security measures/firewall Backup File Server As you can see i could potentially, have a server doing multiple things. However this is my question. so i could maybe create about 3/4 servers or maybe many small ones using little resources. Would something like this be a good processor AMD Piledriver FX-8 Eight Core 8350 Black Edition 4.00GHz (Socket AM3+) Processor - Retail [FD8350FRHKBOX] or AMD Bulldozer FX-8 Eight Core 8150 Black Edition 3.60Ghz (Socket AM3+) Processor - Retail [FD8150FRGUBOX] I use AMD on my gaming/personal computer and i have been impressed. for the same money and intel, i can only get a 4core i5... but people say they are better? what would i be best off doing? paying the same money for a 'less powerful' intel chip or just get the AMD? Im aiming for 8-16GB Ram 1600MHz and 2-4TB hard drive space and i cant see any need for a graphics card. Is this overkill or do i need to maybe put even more money into it to have the servers do what i want? Many Thanks, ITMan93
