  1. I've used photolapse for this in the past, but like people said any video editing software can do it.
  2. Count me in, (I'll send a pm). I could do with a new t-shirt and socks to add to my verypc wardrobe. Just got to wait an entire month till it starts now.

  7. Far too long acording to my wife. I always talk my phone or iPad in with me can't go without it. edit: I'll add the actual business doesn't take that long < 5 minutes. I just end up sitting there watching youtube or reading reddit.
  8. I got my crimpers and wire strippers from maplin for about £15 (probably get cheaper somewhere else) and a krone tool for 99p from eBay. All have lasted More than five years.

  13. The guy's face when he sees the cat... maybe he thought it was a gremlin on the wing.
  14. It does for number plate but not dbs details. Although it does have a tick box on the printed badge for the office staff to tick if they have seen it etc.
  15. On a more serious note, they'd have to look at the risks of a canopy in regards to getting out quick. I know it's only a fan made concept but it does look good.
  16. Hi, I'm a bit at a loss with this one. I'm not sure if it's an issue with my DHCP/DNS setup or whether the router is configured incorrectly. We recently hit our 10.xxx.56.xxx DHCP limit with subnet mask 255.255.248.0. I checked and we're ok to use up 10.xxx.63.xxx so i extended it up by one to dish out 10.xxx.57.xxx Anything on the 57 range can't access the internet (or ping the router) but can access and ping server. Any ideas? Thanks,
  17. But only 10,000 years or so of using ladders.
  18. Makes the HUP price look even better now.
  19. Two of my schools don't have an it suite. Both have several laptop trolleys around school. My third school has an it suite for ks2 and laptops in ks1 (separate buildings) They also have a trolley of 16 iPads that both ks1 and ks2 can use.
  20. This is what happens when you tell a lazy construction worker to open the gate.
  21. It's a server/client setup. I only use one linux machine as both the client and server, but you could quite easily use an iPad as a client whilst the server handles all the printing of the badges and fire list.
  22. Mine's web based so yeah, it would.
  23. Yes, it shows who is onsite now in Staff, Visitors and Regular Visitors and auto refreshes ever 5 seconds (configurable).
  24. Really like the looks of the other solutions people have designed. I'm happy with how my front end looks, but the back end needs some re-design to make it easier to navigate and run reports.
