Resolved it, DNS issue

Having some issues with Sophos Web Appliance at the moment which is used as our proxy. If we have no proxy enabled then internet works fine but as soon as you enable the proxy on the iPads using the proxy IP and port 8080 the traffic will not go through. The web browser sits on the following page: proxy_hostname/index.php?c=auth&i.... etc etc Any ideas how I can get the traffic to go through? Does this seem to be an authentication issue? The proxy is currently set to no authentication required on the iPad and the same on the Sophos Web Appliance. Any help would be much appreciated.

With the National curriculum 2014 for Computing Key Stage 1 & 2 in mind.... What should a primary school have for their IT infrastructure? Do we keep our IT suite or is this a thing of the past? Are schools replacing computer suites with laptop trolleys instead? What should the split of laptops vs. tablets be? Look forward to hearing what you guys have and your thoughts.
