My Car list, Aged 24 W reg Fiat Bravo P reg Ford Fiesta S reg Vauxhall Astra estate 04 Vauxhall Astra hatchback (older style, not the flat hatchback they are now) The most reliable out of those probably had to be the Fiesta.

It was awful yesterday. I'm up London Rd end of Sheffield rain, sun, rain, sun all day. It's slightly cooler today but the server room is still 28c.

I like the idea of 'show us yer rack'. Saves me taking out the server for a photo shoot if I can just do the whole rack. Plus it's a cool name, make a lot of money with ads from people looking for something else.

Hi, It seems to display fine in IE9 on my laptop. Is the issue when viewing in IE itself or in IE preview tab in dreamweaver? If it's in dreamweaver what does it look like when viewed in IE?

Most probably the way IE handles padding and margins. I think Firefox and chrome have their padding outside the table rows and cols and IE does padding inside. Sorry for the vague reply but it's something like that If you post a link or your CSS I'd be happy to take a look. Hope it helps, Dan

My First thought is it would be good for digital signage, I don't think xibo would work as the client is win only; I'm sure there must be other out there though that use a linux client.

Hi All, Not really a VLE but this seemed he best place to put it. I'm making an internal student portal and want to use joomla so staff can add things to news etc. (we use joomla for our main site so staff know how to use it). I'm trying to find a student friendly template that looks tidy but fun for primary kids (great description, no?). Does anyone have any recomendations? I've had a google but can't find one I like. Started playing last night, headphones in dark, didn't get too much play time, got to the Lab. It does seem to have a way to freak you out even when nothings happening.

Could you manually set DNS to google's DNS servers or similar? Just as a fault finding exercise.

Running out of ideas lol. What's dns like on the iPad? can you ping the phone or website IP? can you access a website via its IP address?

Just another thought, under settins > wireless & networks > hotspot settings > manage users. Is allowed users only ticked. Maybe this is causing an issue?

Does it work when connected via a cable to a laptop or other device? A daft question but worth checking, you've not got proxy settings entered onto the iPad or anything from a previous connection?

Does it work for a bit then go off? I have a HTC Desire HD on 3. Tethering works great but after a while the phone turns off 3G to save power? to bring it back up I just have to wake the phone up so it finds a 3G signal again. Might not be what you're experiencing, but thought I'd mention it.

We had a slow printing issue here with our C280, solution was to put the printer's IP in the proxy bypass setting in IE. Don't know why, maybe something to do with how it connects for authentication I don't know. I was smashing my head for days before figuring it out. Hope it helps, Dan Edit ---- More info: This issue suddenly arose when our ISP (YHGfL) moved to a new filter system. Worked fine before, took ages after.

Hey All, The Schools wants to set up a webcam on our intranet, just for a bit of fun really. But I'm stuck at Ideas of what to have a webcam of. I'd like something that has some sort of progress so students can see it over time. Anyone have any good ideas? Maybe something they have done in the past. We wouldn't want anything too high maintenance such as eggs etc. All opinions are appreciated. Thanks, Dan

If I remember correctly most iMacs that have no access to the case you can reset their SMC by taking out the power cord and holding the power button for 10 seconds, the same used to apply to laptops.

It's been a few years since I last worked with Macs but resetting PRAM often sorted funny issues, not sure if it's still relevant though. 'CMD + OPT + P + R' after pressing the power button. Like I said it may not be relevant on newer macs.

Is that the Bear Lake? We have the smaller Trout Lake which is great, but the sloping corners make the main living area feel a bit small when the door is closed.
