we have fsrm installed and have it set to email me when a user gets to 85% of space used this worked fine until we had to change email addy with school name change i have changed the settings on the server to the new address but it is still sending emails to the old address that no longer exists. the old email address is locked in and i cant for the life in me find out why has anyone had this problem or know of a cure is the settings stored in a file or registry? any help would be great server is 2003 r2

anv soft any video converter works a treat here (free also) Download Photo DVD Maker, Photo Flash Maker, DVD Ripper, Video Converter, Audio Converter some other good stuff for free we stick to wmv files because they will work for the kids at home through media player without any other codecs. thats my 2p worth

could i add that the support from Webhelpdesk people is great i had them talk me through the ldap setup. and you can contact them without waiting 20 mins the guys know the product inside out. they do not hastle you to upgrade either it is free for one tech(thats all i need) our staff seem to like it only issues i have with it is the reporting is not overly great but i was told that this is being looked into. but for a free helpdesk it does what it says on the tin. easy setup has its own database (frontbase) you can use sql if required you do not need a powerful machine to run it(all web based)

the revese proxy for our school website had dissapeared overnight. a quick call to the lea got it sorted but we had to close the school and was unable to tell parents via the website (not good)

whats going to happen tomorrow when we are closed and all the pupils and staff are trying to use our vle this is going to affect learning (not good)

i forgot to actually rename the user changing the settings in the general tab does not change the user grrrrrrrrrrrr i really should think these things through. thanks for the quick reply

odd issue here guys a member of staff (SLT) has married and needed the surname changing for email etc we use outlook web access and outlook 2003 exchange 2003 changed name in AD to what it should be using the general tab of the user added new smtp email address alias set as primary this is where the problem is Sending email from Outlook the name is working as it should but when the user sends an email using outlook web access the recipient sees the users old name. what have i missed here i really need some help on this one quite urgent thanks in advance
