  1. No bother mate. Lol.
  2. Indeed, then they'll be the yo-yo team of the North East.
  3. Fair point aerospacemango. I still think they'll make a hash out of it. I can't see Mike Ashley letting them splurge cash all over the place. And are you really that old, 75-76? QPR dominant force in English football?
  4. I'd say ^this^ is a good start. When I have suffered the blinking cursor in the past, it's usually a matter of recreating the MBR and BOOT.INI but obviously Vista doesn't use these. I'd suggest a bootable disc where you can run a disk checking application on your system/boot partition.
  5. But wasn't that before Rafa started chucking people out left, right and centre? People like Mascherano, Xabi Alonso...? I don't think he's had enough time to mould the team around his way of playing football.
  6. What, you want Roy sacked? Personally I can't help but feel sorry for the guy. After all, he inherited Rafa's ruins. I say give the fella a chance and I reckon he'd have a good team within a season or two.
  7. Well from I gather, Mike Ashley wants to move the club forward...how sacking Hughton does this mid-season though I'll never know.
  8. Haha, Newcastle have parted ways with Hughton. What a poor time in the season to do it. I mean yeah, fair enough change the manager at the end of the season if you want to move forward and push on but not in the middle. ARTICLE All I can say as a Sunderland fan is 'I'm a little teapot'. Post edited to remove profanity. Mine version looks better I think.
  9. I think that only applies if you're using it to teach. I think for learning personally it's okay. At least that's how I understand it.
  10. What would I waste money on, hm...? Shelby Cobra 427 (too much power for someone of my limited skills) '67 Shelby Mustang GT500 (everyone wants to recreate Gone in Sixty Seconds) Come to think of it, they're not really rubbish things. I suppose I'd like a good woman, to clean up after me and feed me.
  11. We had a look into Spiceworks but I can't quite remember why it didn't work out for us. This was years ago though. I figured if we went down the barcode scanner route we'd have to have an access database and when we scan the barcodes, a form will pop up and we can just edit it then save.
  12. Today our line manager has mentioned getting a barcode scanner, using it for recording which machines are in which rooms and what we have in stock. We just don't really know whether this would be of benefit to us. How does everybofy else catalogue equipment? Do you include specs in your database? How have you implemented it etc...?
  13. It really depends on what your looking to use the device for.
  14. I'm from Sunderland and it's breakfast, dinner (mid-day meal) and then tea (evening meal) anything else between these is a snack. Everyone else is wrong. Lol. And for reference, it is MAM!! Yet again anything else is wrong.
  15. Agreed. I dare say they will also release an inferior games console but the console will survive due to the strength of its games. IMO that's what happened when the 360 was released. They clearly could have built a much better machine if they'd included wireless, free online gaming (I know it's notpartof the machine but so what), HD drives (I know they released HD-DVD drives for the 360 but they died off and then did nothing to replace them) etc... There were so many things Microsoft did wrong, which had they done right they'd have killed the PS3 off.
  16. If you have super-dooper industrial strength velcro it should be fine. We have some that takes a fair bit of yanking before it will come apart.
  17. @gshaw Don't worry about it, I had the same concerns with an onscreen keyboard as with touchscreen phones I generally have a right hassle but the Desire is really good at coping with my dyslexic fingers.
  18. Ah righty, I didn't know it could do that, then again I've not bothered checking.
  19. I remember my first decent colour screened phone, my awesome 6230...which I lost in the town one night on account of getting drunk. The phone before that wasn't bad either, my Nokia 3100. The first mobile I ever owned was a Bosch 503e. Yeah, got beaten upon the school field and as soon as I'd sat up and noticed my nose bleeding, immediately checked my pocket to make sure it was still there. After that I got Trium Mars, which due to having mobile internet was the first mobile I got explicit materials on.
  20. You could just open Disk Management and check to make sure it has not been given the same letter as a network drive mapping. This happens all the time here, due to having some network drives mapped to letters like H and I.
  21. Clicky. Although, yes I probably should have checked this before I installed it.
  22. Well have had my new Desire for a few days and all has seemed quite well. Ordered a longer USB cable and got it because the one that HTC supply is a tad too short for my liking. Installed a few apps like: APKoptic Astra File Manager AppBrain DailyStrip Demotivators Dictionary.com Epic Fails Movies Opera RAC Traffic SDMove SDWatch SayNoTo0870 Scanner Radio ESPNScoreCenter Shazam ShopSavvy Barcode Scanner Truth or Dare Urban Dictionary Wifi Analyzer AVG Antivirus Free Have a few more I don't use but so far I'm over the moon.
  23. Now sub'd to Linux Format.
  24. Is it better than 2010?
  25. Is that actually much good? I ask because I was sick of all the Windows based mags doing articles on how to fix this or that and how to never have to worry about data loss etc...when basically half the articles were actually useless. I'm recently getting back into Linux and pointers would be helpful.
