  1. disable right-click>set as desktop background. how do you do it?
  2. my head of ICT ran an anonymous test last night after I'd gone home and managed to get the create chart to run, so I've decided to wait until we can get together and see if she can replicate it on another machine. I'll get in touch with RM as well in case there's a subtle difference between the anon tests and the pupil familiarisation tests.
  3. I had this in my inbox this morning - "Task Ref. 1 - invalid cart fx license 1. Extract the zip file 2. Run the .bat file on the workstation (logged in as administrator) 3. Reboot workstation." I'll follow the instructions and keep you posted - though it will depend on free periods through the day. beeswax
  4. go easy on the copy and paste tiger. lol
  5. Well, that's easter over and done with. at 14:40 the head of ICT said she would like to run (I almost typed ruin) the familiarisation test for the last lesson today(14:45 to 15:45), starting at 14:50. god bless her cotton socks.
  6. every little helps
  7. glad to hear it. got mine pencilled in for after the easter break.
  8. how'd it go?

which version of ghost do you have?
  11. ahh, SteveT, you've obviously received payment from your head of IT and started drinking it early. You're speaking in tongues mate.
  12. sorry, not trying to imply anyone's thick.
  13. I reckon so long as "website 1" etc are separate folders then that should work.
  14. DPSConfig.ini is on your server - C:\QCA testing\Admin Point System\DPS Config
  15. are you running RM or plain M$?
  16. I've sent you the amended page via gmail. I've a feeling it may be something to do with the different ways Firefox and IE handle layers. It worked for me in Firefox beeswax
  17. this is the filepath to DPSConfig.ini on our server - D:\QCA testing\Admin Point System\DPS Config\ are you at the point of doing the update which came out a couple of weeks ago? if you are, these instructions should be of help - "By default, the DPS will require configuration after the 10.1.2 software update has been installed. This can be avoided by replacing the DPSConfig.ini file from the zip file with the version that was created during your APS installation. More information on using DPSConfig.ini can be found in the Installation & Technical Guide." So just copy your original DPSConfig.ini file to another location, run the update and move the file back. If this doesn't help, post away, we'll get it sorted. beeswax

    dreams786

just had a member of staff on to me asking if I could locate a site called "dreams786". Can't go into detail here. I've had no luck so far googling or otherwise, apart from xanga.com/dreams786 and I'm not sure if that's what he's looking for. I've tried various street spellings of dreams (dreemz, dreamz etc) as well. thanks in advance, beeswax
  20. not exclusively vista but interesting reading. beeswax
  21. from today's Guardian
  22. I like it. The logos work well for me, nice plain (I don't mean to be derogatory there) bold colour. Navigation seems straightforward. I hope you don't mind my saying this, but my only gripe is with the photograph which seems 'lost' alongside the surrounding design, I think it needs something stronger. Someone else posted a link to their school site here which has some really excellent photos. beeswax
  23. try downloading the tutorials from here you need to have a password, which your NM or school should have, to get to them though. If you haven't got a password you can get one sent to you but this takes a couple of days as I recall. beeswax
