    I don't mind. Last time I was there I gave most of my lottery win away to the orphan's project. I didn't know at the time but it saved the play they were about to perform. It wasn't a life changing amount, for me.

    We have about 150 schools. If the failure on this was 3/1000 the odds are, none of our schools would be affected. I'm afraid we got caught too may times that we are not allowed to roll out, neither are we allowed to test. Perhaps if the schools paid more, we could employ someone to test more....

    That's the point, no amount of testing by you would have discovered the problem. Your data may be immune, unaffected or due for problems in the coming weeks.

    It's real needle in haystack stuff. The fact it is taking all this time to fix proves it is not as simple as we would like to think it is.

    The problem there is that many of the problems do not show until someone runs the specific routine which has the problem. The chances of someone in a LA team spotting this is minimal. Not every problem occurs on every school either.

    The problem here is the reason the communication is being sent. The school could be on rocky ground using contact details for this, unless the ex-students opted into a mailing list for this type of communication.

    I only made pumpkin pie once, to an American recipe. It was so sweet it made my throat raw. Turned me off for life.

    No one has a right to think that. 32 years later I still remember the stunned, numb feeling I felt standing at the place they were killed within hours of the blast. It doesn't go away and nor should it. It's what makes us human.
