We're planning a low-impact replacement called GFI VIPRE. It is taking slightly longer than expected due to the takeover of Sunbelt by GFI though.

OK, had mine 5 days.. initial report: * screen is truly amazing * ergonomics "nice" * battery life seems fantastic On the other hand: * could be more flexible - there's very few settings you can change * browsing amazon for books is a painful experience, you always get left with a "bucket" of 1000s of books, of which it is possible to see a few uninteresting ends. Especially bad if you share your amazon account with a wife who likes different books to you, as it sends the reccomendations haywire * ebooks are still too pricey * should come with a slip-case

You're generally about right - though: * you can tune the sensitivity * there is a way to stop the balnk emails - but its a minor code hack under the hood - drop me a line monday and i'll have one of the guys install it for you Interesting use case there of unquarantining email from external. Hmm Hmm Hmm. I suppose you could port forward to the smoothie and make the email point to a DNS name... but i'll have a think about other solutions.

I believe you're a smoothie user - ask your sales person to turn on spam filtering for 30 days?

Yes it's bloody brilliant* Anti-Spam is one of the few things we don't do ourselves (we'd not be very good at it, we prefer playing with web filters) - the actual anti-spam engine is licenced tech from a company called MailShell - they are actually one of the better examples of the breed, and supply some "big name" products. *this statement may contain traces of bias

Hopefully it's good - a mate of mine is lead design on worms - built in Yorkshire! He's concerned that some of the cool new ideas won't work, but generally i think team17 are happy to go more 2d, feels like 3d may have been at the behest of the publishers...

Short answer would seem to be "yes you can" - certainly would be true with a Smoothie firewall, cant see why not with yours.
