Yep just to echo what others have said. Get an ofcom license. Bonus is that if you use wireless microphones for assemblies etc you can also tune them to make use of the frequency.

Yeah it may need a HDMI monitor. For our setup the monitor was using HDMI and had a splitter for two projectors for the hall. Never failed.

I have a feeling it may be the splitter in that case. However, I’d rule out all hardware first. VGA lead, splitter etc. Maybe try a different PC or laptop if able.

Have you tried adjusting the display resolution in the windows settings to something like 1024 x 768? (Assuming it’s windows) When it comes to lower resolutions usually the source the laptop in this case needs to be able to match the maximum supported resolution of the projector. It sounds like it attempts to pickup the signal and fails.

Turnitin claim to have a good AI detector. How true that is though I'm not sure.

Very minor request but it would be great if the "Today's Posts" link in the menu underneath the navbar could make a return . It's much easier to view what everyone has posted on that day in one click. I know there's "unread content" but if it could be put on the homepage where it used to be that would be fab.

They were added to it originally by the person with access but mentioned it wasn’t working. I’ve just taken them out and re-added and we waited 5-10 minutes. When they were added originally it had been a few days. Is there a rough time it can take?

I've run into an issue today where a user on a E3 license can't view the calendar of a shared mailbox despite being given permission to do so through that mailbox. I logged in as a different user with read and manage access to that mailbox on outlook web, clicked on "Open another mailbox", typed the mailbox email address in and logged in using a separate window/tab and all good there. When I right click on my calendar and sharing and permissions under this mailbox I send an invite to this user to view the calendar and we then accept it and click on "add" which it prompts you to do through the email invite and then "view calendar". But when we go to look at it there are no entries despite there being 5 events on in the calendar for that mailbox today. Am I missing something? The only thing that may be helpful is that the mailbox is not licensed but I didn't think that could be the issue? Note: the user in question does not have read and manage access to the mailbox and is only being given permission to view the mailboxes calendar.

I don't have to deal with them anymore thankfully but I'm looking forward to your side as iPads and filtering drove me mad!

Another photo from my trip up north. I explored Linlithgow for one day and visited Linlithgow Palace, birthplace of Mary Queen of Scots. Really fascinating and rich history behind it. You also don't realise the scale of it until you go into the courtyard and look inside at the interior rooms!

I recently went up north to see some friends and caught this by the new building for the Edinburgh uni campus.

I don’t have access to Jamf in my new role so can’t recall if we enabled anything else but you’ll need to update them all to latest iOS if you haven’t already and then pretty much everywhere on the student profile for the background change it to the one you want. They can still use focus mode but the wallpaper shouldn’t change now.Apple fixed this in iOS 17.5.1.

Remember iPads just work! Don’t get me started on the focus mode. So many tickets and incidents because they were changing the wallpaper… I think Jamf do have a fix for that now though.
