About Danny_11515

  1. Hi @Fazza, I have checked the driver and it seems to be a realtek driver from the manufacture and on the computer. I have gone to the website and downloaded the drivers and uninstalled the old drivers to reinstall the new one even though it appeared which is what I was looking for but when I ejected the SD card and then put it back in it didn't pick up. Thanks for the suggestion.
  2. Hi @Steve21, I have given this a try and unfortunately this didn't work which is strange. I thought this was actually going to be a fix for me but sadly not. Thank you for the suggestion.
  3. Hi @Davit2005, This is an internal SD card slot and I have gone over the drivers and seen that it had a different version so I changed it to the most recent and it didn't really change the issue. Checked over the bios and nothing really shows up there for it either so it is really strange.
  4. Hi @flipthebit, We use Microsoft Defender and that is managed by SCCM. We did a test with a different machine and that worked smoothly without any issues.
  5. Hi, I have had this issue driving me crazy now. I have an SD card that we use to store photos on and then take off the SD card to use for the social media or anything else for the school. It seems when I built the machine to Windows 11 the SD card reader has stopped responding if the SD card is plugged in normally and it is only detected if you restart the machine with the SD card in it. I have downloaded and installed the latest drivers for the SD card reader and even used the DELL platform to scan all the drivers on the device for any updates for the system and installed those and it still doesn't work. Has anyone got a solution to this issue. I have pretty much tried everything to looking at the port of the machine closely to see any damage to pretty much uninstalling and reinstalling the driver.
  6. Hi @Scifigirl Thank you so much. I can't believe I posted this and didn't see this setting before hand.
  7. Hi, I am trying to figure out a way to delete multiple access tokens or select a user group and give them no access to the school building. Our Sixth Formers have officially left and we use Paxton and have placed them into a user group with their permissions to the building but I can't seem to figure out a way to select this group and just give them no access. Has anyone else have a way of doing this?
  8. Hi, I have a weird issue with a power point presentation today. I have been shared a document that has an issue where it has multiple animations and appearances with text throughout one slide and I have gone through this and removed it as normal but for some reason it still has the animations and appearance on text and I can't seem to remove it. Has anyone else dealt with this issue before or would I need to create a new power point with the same information?
  9. Hi @Oaktech thank you for the message. Just to be clear by deleting the users account on the computer and then allowing them to sign in again will clear the issue?
  10. Hi, I have recently encountered an issue with a user on our network where they were doing a data request check on a mailbox and it was working fine yesterday up until today. When they clicked on the users added mailbox in outlook it then crashed and now outlook brings up the scanner software and scans but then it closes and doesn't open outlook again. I have looked at solutions but really haven't had any joy so has anyone else ran into this issue before and knows how to resolve it?
  11. Hi, I am currently looking into something and researching how to boost radio signal in a school building. I have had users come to me about the signal being quite bad sometimes and you can hear people come through like robots sometimes rather than hearing a clear audio. After doing some googling I have seen that there are many antennas and loads of options to choose from but I was wondering if anyone has any insight to this and knows how to work around this issue? We have UHF single band radios and am I correct in thinking that I would need a radio connected to this on one dedicated channel and if I wanted to boost both channels then I would need to hookup 2 radios on different radio channels?
  12. Hi, Does anyone know what could be causing this issue. I have enrolled the device and everything seems to be going smoothly but when it comes to installing the manager app on the device it spits out an error. I have tried checking everything like licences, installs, pushing out the commands to see if this works but I keep getting the same error. I have attached this error for reference and wonder if anyone else has had this issue before. I have contacted support about this but I was looking to see if anyone might have discovered this before and knows how to resolve the issue.
  13. Hi, It has been a long time since I have done this before and now I completely forgot how to do it. I have added the wallpaper profile to the dashboard and uploaded the wallpaper file and applied this to the correct group of Mac's that I want to have the wallpaper installed to. Sadly I am not really getting anywhere with it installing onto the desktop. I check Mosyle and it just says pending and when I push the command it does nothing. I have looked through the restrictions profile and I have allowed wallpaper access and allowed users to change the wallpaper to the mac's but still the command is pending. Anyone else ran into this issue before?
  14. @HereIGoAgain2601 No problem. Just make sure that your devices are up to date though. I have discovered that on versions below Mac OS 15 seem to have a problem with this feature and still prompt for an admin username and password even if it has been disabled. Once it is up to date and turned off then this will allow you to switch networks without a problem.
  15. *UPDATE* I have managed to find it for Mac. It seems that you have to go into restrictions - functionality - Administrator authorization for network changes (macOS 11 and later).
