  1. Yes, this is the sort of issue we are experiencing plus the "New to Microsoft" error message
  2. All wings report in. Happening here.
  3. Whilst it works, every website now thinks we are coming from USA, so BBC Youtube videos complain that it's not available in our country, websites list things in $, this is the nail in the coffin for me and securly, I'll be looking at competitors when our contract comes up for renewal. I've had enough of them messing up what feels like every month.
  4. Still got this issue myself. Anyone else heard anything from Securly? Anyone got a decent workaround? I've tried exploring creating google accounts with SSO but keep hitting brickwalls, I think you need to pay for licenses, and the Google support is non existent unless you pay.
  5. Got the same issue here. Messages are just queuing.
  6. But that doesn't happen anymore with regards to site breakings. When was the last time that happened? They are both Chromium based browsers. And the coupons you can restrict all that rubbish.
  7. I agree that if you're a google school then it definitely makes sense, but we have no chrome devices in our school.
  8. Thinking about our summer re-build and I'm considering not installing Google Chrome anymore. Microsoft Edge works so well now, it provides the same browsing experience as Chrome. Gone are the days when you needed both "just in case" it didn't work in Edge. I find Edge easier to manage with GPOs as well. So far, the only argument I've had from my LT lead, with why he thinks we should keep it, is "it provides a choice to students and staff", but I don't see the point in that. What do we all think?
  9. I heard the popcorn buckets are only available in USA in AMC cinemas
  10. The "turning Chani sulky" is part of what I was referring too. In the book, it's very much "women stay home, looks after children, be there for husband". There's a line in Dune Part 2 where Chani says "men and women are equal". This obviously is in line with modern audiences. I don't want to give spoilers away, but it makes how she is at the end more "justifiable". With regards to the timescale compression, i mean, it's already a 2 hour 45 min film, and it's PART 2! So I understand why they compressed things a little haha although I was a little upset they cut the part in the book where Jessica and Gurney meet and things get a little heated. If you want a Denis V film that will engage you emotionally, I highly recommended Arrival. One of my all time favourite films, and definitely triggers emotion!
  11. You will have an extremely numb bum!
  12. This needs to be seen in IMAX if possible. Incredible Cinematic experience. I would say the changes from the book were to cater for a modern audience and so that it will translate well onto screen (book came out in 1954). Not sure what you mean by Villeneuve's work is "distant". I'm curious
  13. There is a School Connection Beta Program running currently where they are testing parents being able to log into their own personal teams to be able to view their child's homework (assignments). We are currently running this ourselves, so far feedback has been good. You can sign up to the Beta here School Connection Interest Form (office.com)
  14. Just wanted to update you, I resolved the issue by giving the VM another CPU core. When doing more diagnostic, the CPU was spiking and hovering between 95%-100% which I think was just causing all sorts of weird issues, like failing RDP connections. My only defense, I inherited this network and server only fairly recently. It's odd that it's only just started misbehaving following a recent update, but then again I've seen weirder things after Windows updates. I'm not saying it's the same issue for you, but maybe make sure your CPU performance is not spiking on those services at all.
  15. We are, I'm curious as to what your question is going to be?
  16. It's a Windows 2022 VM running running on a Dell R650 with Failover Cluster. This is the only VM doing it though. I'm scared to update anything now though. I can't see this issue being reported anywhere else.
  17. My server that is not working is 10.0.20348.1668 but it's that on my servers that are working so I'm not sure it's that. At least not for me.
  18. Having this exact same issue. Absolutely driving me insane. Did you ever get a resolution in the end?
  19. Your DPO is the person to ask this question to. I would imagine that it would be ok as long as it's sent securely and encrypted, but still best to run that past your DPO.
  20. That's the new plan I'm going with. We can just rebuild those machines after the exam.
  21. mmm no still no luck, I've verified that the service is running and we are using Education version. Getting quite frustrated with this now.
  22. Has anybody had any luck with this in Windows 11? I've tried the AppLocker method but I can still open it.
  23. My parents brought home a Playstation 1, Christmas 1999. I believe we had 2 games, Toy Story 2 and Speed Freaks. Boy did I love playing Speed Freaks, and will often talk to my sister about that early memory of playing that game with her on Christmas day. I would have been 5!
  24. I pushed out x28 Unifi Ac HDs in the last 2 years. i can't complain really, but I really don't trust Unifi anymore. Their supply issues is one thing, but we just never know what they are going to do. I'm currently looking into Omada as a future cheaper alternaive, or maybe just bite the bullet and go for something like Aruba.
