  2. ImgBurn is very good so another vote here too!
  3. I'm too using Chrome. Annoyed with Firefox as it kept crashing but Chrome gets the job done :-)
  4. Will the FTP service in Windows (Or comes alongside IIS can't remember now) not do the job?
  5. We a similar issue a little while back. I rebuilt the squid proxy box and all seems fine now (We have our squid proxy box on site though!). Did it still load these images straight after they cleared the cache? The problem with ours was even after 'clearing' the cache, the cache remained there.
  6. We've added the exceptions to Sophos, Just got to wait for PC to update now. Fingers crossed no further issues!
  7. @alonebfg This probably isn't what you need then. If would be very easy to tweak the Main form to add a ComboBox that can support multiple proxy addresses. and thanks tsimons
  8. Or even use their client side software for users with dynamic IP addresses OpenDNS > Support > Knowledge Base > Client software for updating a dynamic IP in an OpenDNS network
  9. Congratulation someone for 'Dinging' when it's their birthday... Glad I don't play Warcraft anymore! "Gz on Ding!"

  15. The global internet settings are refreshed on the fly using InternetSetOption calls As long as the browser is set to use system proxy settings then it works in every browser.

    Got a new phone

Looks quite nice actually and a bargain at that price! How does it run so far?
  18. Aggghh CAT5 tis a dangerous cable! What's wrong with trunking all over the place anyway! Only thing I can think of without it being a huge jobs is to tack the cable to the top of the skirting board and paint them both the same colour. It's what I did anyway. You hardly notice it if you do a nice neat job :-)
  19. Just wanted to let everyone know about a project I've been working on for a week now. I guess the best way of you getting more information is by visiting the website I smacked up for it quickly here: Proxy Switch Quite excited about the project as its my first project of this sort and my first program (or time using..) C# and .NET 4. Although there isn't a release just yet wanted to get some feedback really on if people (other than the school I work at) would be interested in using something like this. Can't wait to hear what you guys think about it (Have a good bank holiday weekend too and I hope this doesn't sound like a sales pitch.... )
  20. I've been playing around with C# over the past few days and really love the lang actually! It's a little off topic but just wanted to know how your finding it?
  21. Installed it last night and actually really like the whole feel. Gnome feels less 'old-school' in this release too. (Can't stand KDE) Hoping to test out Visual GTK# with C# and mono this weekend. See how it compares to .net.
  22. If you 'publish' the application via Visual Studio (Or express) then you will get a network or net based installer like the one Google Chrome uses. It might be best to then have a 'splash' page when you first run the program to prompt for the database location. Otherwise you would need to create a custom setup package.
  23. There seemed to be a few issues with our line last night they seem to have sorted themselves by this morning though
  24. The web developer was just ironing out some notches All good now (Touch wood!) Thanks Limbo will pass on the good words.
