i've always wondered how would insurance companies work out if you were on business? they cant really prove it can they? You haven't taken the minibus test by chance? School has asked me to take the minibus test in a couple of weeks for "emergency planning procedures".

I installed sims mobile on a new server and updated it to v4.11 I am able login to the CMSMobileAdmin page, setup users and assign user rights. I am trying to test offline use on the pda and I'm unable to login to sims mobile on the pda using a usb cable; i get the message login failed. I have run the diagnostic tests which responds successfully When i am trying to run the user login part of the diagnostic tests (frmTest), i get the following error: SIMS login test failed Failed to login to sims. The test returned this reply: Login failure; object reference not set to an instance of an object The user has the appropriate permissions in SIMS and the CMSMobile Admin page and i can login to SIMS.net Desktop with the user. I have checked the following: Tried to login using multiple users SIMS Config XML file settings Configutil settings are correct Ran Configutil opened api and saved settings I've tried to contact capita supportnet but as usual they have completed ignored the above and pointed me to a knowledge base article which isnt relevant the first suggestion by the article they have refered me to is to check whether i have a network connection. well i think i established that when the diagnostics test came back successful! anyone have any ideas?

try rebuilding from your replica server; edit the boot disk to point to the replica server. if it works then your rebuild area will be corrupt.

is it just me or is anyone else surprised at how cheap the insurance is? £12.50 a device for something used by kids that can be sold on ebay, smashed quite easily etc. It would be interesting to see how they manage the devices. I agree about 130 wireless access points; a bit overkill. Apple must be rubbing their hands with glee! Imagine what you could do with £500,000 to be spent on technology..

I took a placement year at university as a ICT Technician although i was paid £12k and that was for twelve months. Mossj is right about minimum time you have to be on placement. It might be worth emailing university careers departments and connexions (i dont know if they host job ads). I'm sure in the current economic climate, university students and even unemployed ICT people would be dying for some experience and would interested in volunteering. is episode two the last one? I think i remember seeing the orange box for PS3.

I've played through all of the half life series up to half life 2 episode one on the pc. I've completely lost track of the series and want to finish it! Can anyone tell me how many episodes are left and if they are available on PS3? I want to avoid spoilers. Thanks

I already have the HD monitor. I guess my dvi question was geared more to watching non HD content using my pc whether there was a noticible difference between DVI and VGA i currently use a VGA Cable. I think i have answered my own question as ill be getting a USB Freeview Dongle anyway which are meant to be HD Ready so i'll need a DVI cable eventually!

Would i notice a difference if i connected a DVI cable instead of using the VGA port? Can't say i've noticed a difference when i've seen a blueray movie either? Maybe i am a bit blind!

BenQ G2411HD 24 TFT Monitor OPEN BOX - Misco.co.uk I bought this HD monitor a couple of weeks ago for £130. Absolute bargain and a cheap way to go HD! Chose three day delivery and it arrived the next day! Save myself quite a few bob on purchasing a HD TV; planning to use a USB freeview dongle for watching tv. It has HDMI, DVI, VGA connections but no speakers (does have headphone socket though) Picture quality is great with my PS3. Haven't noticed a big difference with some of my games compared with my non HD monitor e.g. metal gear solid 4 and GTA 4 but for PES its like going from PS2 to PS3!

There's no way i would stand for this! It seems someone has messed up and needs to take responsibility! It sounds like you dont work during half term; is that correct? If you've put the location on the quote then either the contractors or the caretaker has messed up. The caretaker saying “just get it done” is not exactly helping the situation but if he the person responsible for making sure ICT jobs are done properly during holidays then its his/her fault. If the cable was too short then the contractors is too blame in the first instance. The cheek of them to ask for £75 as well! I would have thought it would have been common sense not to have network points high on the wall for computers!

I've decided to focus on looking for IT support jobs outside of education for the moment. I researched nursing and although the funding would be provided by the NHS and i would be entitled to a bursary, i dont think i could handle going back to a part time job and loss of responsibility that comes with it.

We've been using it since January. I cannot recommend it highly enough! I agree with everything superfletch has said. You might want to run a trial first to try it out and they all give a web conference demo to the product. The installation is very easy and I had it installed and running in a short amount of time. The support is excellent and we haven't had any problems at all. We are planning to roll it out to the premises team so staff can log calls for the caretakers.

I did a budget spreadsheet for a first time buyer home, very basic and included frugal values for socialising etc and i had about £30 left after taxes, morgage payments, insurance etc

For future proofing or is 64bit still a pipe dream for normal everyday use? I have no plans to upgrade my pc in the next couple years (only RAM) and i dont use my PC for gaming anymore thanks to the PS3.
