  1. Cheapest and easiest solution I found for backing up O365 is synology.
  2. My understanding of ransomware is that it will usually sit dormant in most cases, until an administrator logs in to a computer and it has the credentials to exploit. Using the backup and antivirus method you should be able to find where it sits should you come to recover your systems. Your backup system is not protection against ransomware. As far the synology box being infected, are these not usually viruses programmed for Windows machines?
  3. Happening here, no word from Engineers. Friday I was told the engineers marked the call as resolved as they assumed it was a WAN issue.
  4. Once you've backed up your 365 data on your synology unit does the Antivirus app scan that data? is it useful for protecting against ransomware etc?
  5. In my opinion, those reasons certainly don't come above a fire warden checking nobody is trapped in a burning building.
  6. Why would I need that in writing?
  7. I had a conversation with ESS Sims yesterday as they phoned me after I made a request to carry on with 1 year renewals, they are not moving on the 3 year agreement.
  8. Configure automatic replies to reoccur during out of office hours without the users involvement.
  9. Have you tried plugging one into your computer and seeing if it opens up in itunes?
  10. Does anybody have this set up? I've had a request for automatic replies to be activated during out of office times for everybody. Thanks
