  1. Is this on specific printers? I've had similar updates in the past break printing for only Kyocera printers.
  2. I've never seen a job spec outline what you need to achieve in the first 90 days of employment. The work outlined if done properly, would probably take a year in my opinion. The tone of how to reads really shows what the trust culture is like.
  3. I bought ReliefJet Essentials for Outlook, it will covert all PST files into PDFs. Then easy to print if needed.
  4. That's crazy, we don't support Chrome here. The user I had needed to use Outlook Classic in order to get access to PDFs.
  5. Yes I've seen this with only one user so far, I couldn't get to the bottom of it. The PDF worked from the Outlook app so just instructed to use that. This could be a big problem if Microsoft don't figure it out.
  6. V2 is dreadful.. I was in a similar position, they make it sound simple and then once you're 'migrated' they tell you to crack on doing all the work.
  7. Serious problem for us, some times you find 4 teachers signed in to a device. Unfortunately this is how our teachers want it, even though they complain the computers are slow they want to have lessons prepped before they show up to teach.
  8. Yes.. V2 shows you all the users still logged in to a computer. Which is even worse if you want to broadcast your screen because it will broadcast the screen of the first person who logged in. I wish I could have avoided going to V2 but required it for external filtering.

  11. New range from DELL are pretty good.
  12. Its the employers responsibility to provide a 'comfortable' working environment. Speak to your union, they will advise you relocate to a warmer place if possible.. if not go home. By the way, make sure you lay it on thick to the head teacher that it is effecting your health and wellbeing.
  13. Which should all be investigated and lead by the DPO. None of that actually refers to technology specifically by the way.. data storage can mean a piece of paper in a drawer.
  14. Publish guidance on how to log in.. on your intranet, which requires you to log in to access. Since when was Data Protection technology related?
  15. How does this alert meet the standard of having a distinguishably different alert? If you have your phone on vibrate, is this different from an sms alert?
  16. Speak to your suppliers, you can lease anything.
  17. The 'Remote Log on' tool doesn't work for me any more. Use to be such a time saver and now they've broken that.
  18. Where is this information?
  19. We had this with V1 and the answer was to disable the feature within 'Broadcast' to not be able to find 'my computer'.
  20. Anyone else who has rolled out Senso V2 experiencing staff complain about slow computers / slow internet? The only change we made over the summer is updating to Senso V2, since then we have had complaints about computers taking a long time to log in and when they finally are the internet is slow. Once the users restart the computers everything works as expected. I've noticed it only tends to be when either 1 or 2 other users have left the computers logged in, so 2 idle users taking up resources on the computer. This is causing major frustrations here and I'm just wondering if anyone else is experiencing it and it it's related to the V2?
  21. I've seen our school interested in this. I wondered if it was just clever marketing.
  22. Data protection nightmare.
