The only thing Inventry does better than sign in app is the Paxton integration/door listeners. Do wish this was an option for Sign in for signing staff in on site. Sign In App is superior at basically everything else.

That's exactly what their documentation says/what I've done! Task scheduler says it's running though nothing gets uploaded. If I run "C:\Program Files (x86)\ParentPay\MISSync.exe" /sims in command prompt it just loads opens MIS Sync
-
How do you have your schedule task set up? I've tried setting it up as per their documentation, in the history on task scheduler it is running the task but nothing is uploading. Tried emailing parent pay but to call them useless would be a compliment.

I personally prefer locker for this reason, can change things yourself, for bigger changes you can ask Locker for a ticket to do so. Salamander they basically have to change everything for you

Hi, been using Mosyle MDM to manage our ipads and it works really well, overall very happy with it. Only gripe I do have is when I purchase a new app on VPP, it can take an age to pull through to Mosyle so I can deploy it to iPads. Does anyone know if there's a way to manually force Mosyle to sync the available apps?

How long ago? I've had it take hours to appear in Mosyle in the past.

VLAN/Smoothwall/DHCP question
Lebowski replied to Lebowski's topic in Internet Related/Filtering/Firewall
ID 1 = default vlan, windows server DHCP running on this. ID 202 = VLAN id for the smoothwall DHCP to be used for BYOD -
VLAN/Smoothwall/DHCP question

Sorry, just being clear, I need to have default VLAN as tagged, then the VLAN I want for the smoothwall DHCP as untagged? -

The Default VLAN is set to untagged then the VLAN which I want to use for the smoothwall DHCP is set to tagged. -
VLAN/Smoothwall/DHCP question

Tried untagging the port on the switch so smoothwall to switch untagged, access points to switch tagged, the 2 DHCP's are still clashing. -
VLAN/Smoothwall/DHCP question
Lebowski replied to Lebowski's topic in Internet Related/Filtering/Firewall
That's right, Basically I have nic 1 on the smoothwall going into 1 switch. I have nic 2 on the smoothwall going into another switch as it's POE, this has DHCP enabled and set up in smoothwall, it gives out IP addresses and works fine, the port is tagged (I should try untagging it?) all the access points are tagged in the same vlan on this switch. It all does what I want, it just just overruling the windows DHCP and giving ip addresses to computers, despite being tagged in a vlan. -
Hello all Trying to set up Smoothwall as a DHCP server for BYOD devices in my school while using windows server for the internal network DHCP. I've configured an interface on the Smoothwall to give out IP addresses in a different range, plugged it into the switch and everything works as it should, it hands out an IP and the device can connect and use internet. Issues arrise in that the smoothwall is giving IP's to computers that should be getting IP's from the windows server DHCP. I've tagged the port the smoothwall dhcp interface goes into with a vlan but it still does it. Just hoping someone can point me in the right direction if they have a similar setup

I'm guessing to do that you'd have to have the traffic on the WPA2 SSID on a seperate VLAN?

Morning all Trying to set up a few printers to deploy through group policy and ran into a problem. The printers will not deploy for love nor money, I've sorted point & print etc Ran through gpresult and noticed it's deploying from the secondary DC, which is fine however, when checking the policy settings on the 2ndary, the 'deployed printers' tab just literally isn't there. I'm wondering if it could be a sysvol replication issue, though there is nothing in the event logs and everything else seems to be fine. Main DC is server 19, secondary server 2012r2 Really has me stumped, just wondered if anyone has ran into similar issues or has any ideas? Thanks in advance.
