It won't - still buggy as hell. Anyhoo - completed first brief playthrough and now in the midst of a more exploratory, "do all the side quests" playthrough. Don't ignore these. Things like the races are an enjoyable past-time however the rubber-banding isn't unlike the old 80s Pole Position type games and does spoil it somewhat. Spending more time free-roaming rather than fast travelling everywhere and finding quite a lot more as a result, plus this is a must-do for anyone finding the cyberpsychos. The Delamain side missions are a MUST, particularly for fans of Portal. I'm enjoying it a lot more now, mostly because I've taken time to understand the hacking side of things and aiming for particular perks and attributes as I go. I don't really think it's getting very RPG like - more Outer Worlds than Fallout 3/NV as an example but the crafting & attribute/perk system appears to be more geared towards achievement hunting rather than story/arc progression. For those with "lesser" machines, the one-click EZOptimiser does a great job of speeding things up without dropping fidelity considerably. I'm getting a fairly constant 60fps now and the only noticeable issues with quality are also there with the dials turned right up.

I would have hoped for more transparency from such a company, and they should IMO be advising the changing of passwords regardless of whether or not they can confirm a data breach - yes that might make people assume the worst, however that little extra something would go a long way if they stumble on something a little later on down the line their initial investigations didn't pick up.

Performance wise, happy here - non RTX PC user, it's clearly way ahead of all the "last gen" consoles. Definitely still a lot of glitching but improving with every patch so far - certainly no game-breakers like I had on day 1/2.

That sort of thing is generally left for mission critical systems - Doddle is far, far from that.

Yeah, that's the feeling I'm getting with a lot of what's popping up. Mines going to be between the full raytracing experience and the ps4 pro but it all seems to be hanging on the RTX side of things - which is odd, as that doesn't have any effect on physics or the majority of bugs, only real time lighting.

Spent around 5 hours on CP2077 and have requested a refund through GoG. Lost count how many times I've fallen through the map irrecoverably and losing so much progress. I'll likely give it another go next year when thigns are looking so much better. Still a million miles ahead of anything on the consoles

I've just sworn at it admittedly because it added the emails I wanted but didnt make them main/primary despite putting that in the CSV, then doing it again to correct it just added another copy My own fault though! One of those things I believe Salamander would easily handle however until we finally get it, and until we move from SIMS which feels inevitable for some reason, little tools like this do the world of good

Yes it's safe to run - do it as soon as you can. It shouldn't take much more than a couple of hours for a drive that size if it's a slow one. However don't go papering over cracks - it's time to replace it.

We do very much like XG - it's a lot more mature feeling now than when we first had it - reliable, easy to use (miles ahead of Smoothwall there) - reporting isn't fantastic but the price difference is easily enough to purchase Fastvue on top and still save pennies. As you rightly point out, it's the lack of content awareness although that has it's own pros and cons. I can't say much about Sophos' support however as we've always gotten it from our ISP @Wave9_Lee who have been absolutely second to none.
