Not gernerally ill - certainly not enough to take a day off. The first month or so I worked here I picked up more than the usual amount of sniffles etc., but nothing major. That was about 4 years ago. The thing that has hit my sick record the most is getting married! The wife has been quite ill the last year or so, so I have had to to attend some appointments with her. While at primary school, we entered 2 teams into my (future) high school's summer fair 5 aside comp. I have always been useless at football, but a few of us went down to watch, and because it was just a laugh, the teacher let us play. The two teams got swapped around a fair bit throughout the day. The last match for our 2 teams was against each other. A particular one would get placed if they beat the other. So, the strategic, and sportsman like instruction from our teacher was "Team A, stand still and let Team B win!" I was on Team A for that match, but because I had played for Team B during the day - I got a medal, my first and only medal for football - it is quite treasured! Andy

Good old CPC? Though I do like the sound of the dual head graphics cards, I've thought of this before. You could have the desktop extended so that your ACTIVStudio flp (or Smart et al. equivalent) is left on the board while you (or rather the teacher!) get's on with something else - like take the register! Now if only I had a budget so that I could order 30 odd new graphics cards... Andy

Easy choice - firewire! I would like to have a DV player in my suite just for the look of it - but that is very shallow! I'm sure you could spend less on a camera - and then you have an extra camera! You will find most modern DV cameras have DV In now also. One tip, thinking ahead, you can find DV cameras that have a AV in. This will let you record from Analogue sources, such as VHS tapes to DV - which you can then of course put into your creations! Andy

I too have been looking at the OU for a completely different course (I already have BSc(hons) Computing) and I agree with Kingswood in that the resources I have seen seem excellent. Some might (or dare I say will) have a differing opinion on the value of a degree vs industry certs. Not sure where I am on this debate. The new Promethean projector setups are definitely on a swing arm, and I'm pretty sure I have seen a little cage you can put on the wall to swing them into overnight! However, I think (and I could be wrong of course), that the OP wants to mount the board so that it swings out? Though if there is room to store it against the wall - could you just not use the board there? DISCLAIMER: I may be talking nonsense Andy

Hi Geoff - which version of Ghost are you using? I have the latest Ghost Solution Suite 2.0, and this is a known problem to Symantec - however, it was fixed in the last LiveUpdate Update (?!) Andy

I'm no experrt on DNS, but I gather what webman is still right on IIS. If you create a new site in IIS Manager and use the DNS to point to the ip address, I think IIS will sort out where the request goes. Andy
