hmmmm 404 is usually File or Site not Found... I am presuming that it has been working fine up until this point or is this a test case? Timeouts tend to happen on large files usually >1Gb Have you checked file permissions on the directory that contains your moodledata? I am struggling at this point. Sorry

Server limit pulls the info from the php.ini file. AFAIK that should be it and works fine for us here. It may be a course setting - that also has the ability to restrict file upload sizes. There is a course upload limit (default). Administration > Courses > Course Default Settings Is it a WAMP setup or do you use IIS? Mark

You will need to change your 'Maximum uploaded file size' in moodle also Administration > Security > Site policies Ours is currently set at server limit HTH Mark

you need to alter the php.ini file post_max_size = 1024M upload_max_filesize = 1024M that should do it - as far as i know it is not server specific you will need to restart iis after the change HTH Mark

Nick, I have finally got roind to installing HAP+ (latest version as of today), have followed the instructions but a getting an error when tring to load the ajax stuff... As much as I would love to help with the coding etc I am a VB coder and not too good with the web stuff yet so I'll just sit back and add comments where necessary. Our upgrade from 1.9.8+ to 1.9.9 went well, no issues (we dont have any non standard modules though) just copied/ replaced the files over the original (did take a backup!) and then let moodle do the rest - it should perform the upgradeand update the tables etc

hmmm..... Not entirely sure but it sounds like a Group Policy Folder Redirection thing you are looking for, unfortunately that means creating a policy that hits just those machines more precisely the OU that they sit in, it also means you need to create a new folder redirection folder that contains the program icons for that room. My suggestion would be to put the icon on the desktop/ startmenu for all if the program is not installed then it the icon will not resolve regardless. Not sure this is the answer you were looking for but hope it helps either way Mark

xamp is for testing only. we run on a IIS6 with PHP and MSSQL and it runs fine I would agree with kmount check that the ldap extension isn't commented out and/ or even exists If it does not exist you want to first check the php_ldap.dll is in your extensions folder - if it is not check your download is not corrupt as it should be there. If it is there then add extension=php_ldap.dll then save your php.ini and restart iis using iisreset from the commanline

Depends on what you are looking for tbh... we are running it here and I can give you the details on how to set it up but as for teaching with it I wouldn't have a clue - I could have a chat with the lead person to see what he can suggest but as we have only just taken it up ourselves i'm not sure how much help we would be - we're a secondary too.
