We've got increasing numbers of staff using visualisers - but finding that the default camera app doesn't arrive automatically with 20H2.

We've intentionally stopped staff opening the microsoft store.

Is there a stand alone downloader for the camera? (or for the media pack - or has that been discontinued?)

Or is there another way? At the moment we're installing Hue visualiser software (about 75% of the visualisers are Hue) - but this is a little clumsy...

Thanks

It's weird that you're not seeing the Camera app - we're using 20H2 and it's there for us. I'm using the Windows 10 20H2 ISO from the VLSC, with certain inbuilt apps de-provisioned, could you perhaps have accidentally de-provisioned this while preparing your build?

It could be there, but just need registering into the user profile. If it's available at all, you should see it under C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Microsoft.WindowsCamera_2018.826.98.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe (or some variation thereof). If it is there, you can just write a login script to register the app in the profile. I found I had to do that with quite a few apps this upgrade, for some reason.

Everyone here has the IP Evo 4k visualiser and the software for that seems to work for everything I've tried so far.

It's in the Microsoft Store or there is an MSI available from their website.
