OK, Christmas is mere days away and I can guarantee that most of you are sat with mountains of food, drink, chocolate and other assorted seasonal niceness at home. And I can bet that you are going to hit one or more items pretty hard. So what I want is a report about what it was you gave into temptation of and had more than can be considered 'reasonable'.

As an example I'll start you off with this (admittedly lightweight) example. Last night I had a whole Fry Bentos chicken pie all to myself. Because I was feeling rough from the night before still. And I'm pretty sure I can later report on the state of a large tin of Quality Street which has yet to be opened but is expected to have a limited life span.

So, post them up. I want to hear about half turkey marathons, whole christmas puds and entire packs of mince pies all being gorged all in the festive spirit.

We won't judge you, Honest ;)

A few years ago I was in Tenerife for Christmas and went to the resort's Christmas Eve bash. We were arranged in tables of six. Our table managed to swill its way through 19 bottles of wine (all free) as well as various beers and spirits. We all made it to Christmas lunch the followig day (in bright sunshine, on the patio ... dark glasses optional but necessary) but most of us were drinking orange juice or water, somehow the wine just didn't quite taste the same!

It should be renamed Geeks vs Food vs Drink!

I had a warm up Christmas Dinner at one of my schools yesterday - there was loads of meat left, yet no one went up. I can't be the only fatty that goes up twice I was thinking! In the end it was offered, so I accepted :D

Please don't judge! ;)

I should have stipulated that if it says on the packaging 'Feeds 4' and there is just you, then this is what we're looking for :)

Are we limiting this just to the Christmas season? ;)

I just made myself a mix bag of my favourite chocolates from all the various tins/boxes in the office, meant to last all day, polished it off in about 5 mins.

Feel sick now

I would have been up for this in previous years, but been doing WeightWatchers with the Mrs since May and heading into my first weight-watching Christmas, so no gorging for me! :-(

All our special Christmas food is in the spare room - which I have to pass on the way to bed...(whoops, an ellipsis)

I have had to re-purchase several things including several of those family tubs of cheesy biscuits :)

The first Christmas that I spent round my In-Laws I drunk 4 bottles of red wine to myself and threw up over their cream carpet!

Bet that made for an interesting stain, just have to repeat it for halloween. ;)

We have bags of sweets in the staff room at work and I always mean to make them last a few days. One hour later all gone, even if I try pawn them off on the other admin staff. :(

I keep having to buy packs of Cheese Crispies as the ones bought for Christmas keep disappearing... which may or may not be my fault

I made 48 mince pies last weekend, and I admit that all 4 of us are home, but there are now 3 left and I have (genuinely) eaten only 4. It looks like I will be baking again this weekend.

We have that issue in the house, I've gone through about a dozen so far out of the 3 dozen baked :( Think my mum needs to bake some more haha

Right that's another 69 mince pies made... exactly a week since the last batch. It's as much as I could get from 3lb of mincemeat and the 2lb of shortcrust pastry I made.

Teenage son is still in bed, so they'll last for the next hour or so

The variety of tins and boxes of sweets and chocolates dropped into the office have not lasted beyond the day they were brought in! Oops

I'm with previous people on unattended bowls of nuts...

Being allergic to nuts, I am sadly banned from Xmas cake. On the bright side, we have a homemade ginger cake that has basically become mine as a consolation! I will single-handedly ensure that it will not make it to Christmas day!! :)
