Web Hosting - Need to change hosts. Whos good.

Im with 123reg at the moment but by the 6th I need to ether pay up another £70 or find another host. 123reg is some what slow for my CMS for my likening too.

 

• I need at least two databases.
  
• Able to install Joomla.
  
• 1 or 2 emails.
  
• 1GB or 2GB of data maybe..

I'm with CSnewmedia on their premium package. £180pa which seems steep but it guaranties there is only so many users on a single host. Means our site has gone from timeouts on Fasthosts to [almost] as quick as if I hosted it on our own dedicated hardware. Support is almost instant too. Edited October 4, 2012 by Guest

I use TSOHost, but Vidahost/TSO are all the same company at the end of the day - Paragon Internet Group Ltd. Good bunch of guys and had nothing but great support from them (<5 min replies to tickets at 3am in the morning is great ).

I use 5quidhost - they're not bad, their support being excellent compared but I have had sites hacked recently which does make me wonder. They have responded quickly at silly times of the day and it's always be personal.

UK Web Hosting - Web hosting Services - UK Reseller Hosting - My fav host, FANTASTIC service - email based only but they get back to you in just minutes and there’s no ‘have you tried turning it off and on again’ mentality.

 

The cpanel control panel they have is great as well as the other little features like twice daily online backups.

EduTech Hosting Services, if you need dedicated support then you would be better speaking to CSNewMedia or/ VeloxServ as I can't gurantee an immediate response during the day but always try my best. :-)

I know that this is an old post, but if you are having trouble with the speed of your hosting. You can use a CDN (Content Delivery Network) along side your hosting.

 

Have a look at www.cloudflare.com

 

The basic features are free and the payed version is only $20
