akidosaint Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 recently updated our machines to run activinspire but am not able to calibrate board by pressing power indicator with pen in top left corner. Driver version 5.7.23.1 still able to calibrate from system tray icon. have done a fresh install of activinspire still no joy.
AndiMarv Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 I fell foul of something similar once before. Turns out I was pressing the promethean logo in the top corner which registers a pen/mouse click. The proper method is to hover the pen over the logo for a few seconds then the calibration worked for me. I hope this helps you.

phillyrovers Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 Hi Akidosaint, The process of holding the pen to the light triggers the board to tell the driver to start the calibration programme. The fact that this has now stopped since you have updated the driver might be down to the way the firmware in the board is talking to the driver, and therefore it might be that the firmware version currently installed onto the board may not be talking with the latest driver correctly, especially if it is an older version. I would suggest that you contact the support team (via www.prometheankb.com to see if there is anything they can suggest.
