Dos_Box Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 I have, it took 5 mins and was effortless.....For once.
kingswood Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 There's a good article on the ins and outs of Exchange SP2 in this month's Windows IT Pro magazine... Paul
ICTNUT Posted November 8, 2005 Posted November 8, 2005 Applied it Monday last week and so far no probs. One huge bonus is the great move towards mobile email, we have around 30 PDA's which all now get email syncs on the move around the school wirelessly and in near real-time. It was a total mare to get it running correctly pre SP2
tosca925 Posted November 9, 2005 Posted November 9, 2005 Am i correct in thinking that if i do a new Exchange server build now i can just put SP2 straight on without putting SP1 on first?
ChrisH Posted November 9, 2005 Author Posted November 9, 2005 Yes the days of awkward NT 4 like service packs are over thank god.
Ric_ Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 It installed easy enough and no noticable problems. I haven't played with the good stuff though!
tarquel Posted November 11, 2005 Posted November 11, 2005 SP2 here - no problems :0 ...that I know of - but the exchange system I set up is all freshly installed anyhow lol Cheers N.
